I was able to follow the explanations for the process for the framework easily, the directions for use were first rate. The instructor really knows his stuff and would be very confident in take more of his courses.

This course exceeded my expectations. It had the right amount of depth needed for me to get a good start in Python with Django. This clarified many of the concepts I need to know for progressing deeper into this. Also the info on how to easily make a web site pretty was a great bonus. Thank you.

All 4 courses are excellent. I have not seen an instructor that explains the Django concepts so simple and clear and especially the REST API one. Mr Elder is the best instructor for beginners and I hope him to publish some new intermediate level Django courses in the future!

Great course for learning the basics of Django in relation to APIs. I am glad you were articulate and that we could actually see you on the screen. Videos were not sequential therefore you can take each one individually. The downside is that it can seem quite repetitive (e.g. install python, set up venv, etc.) but might still be good for practice.

Finished the course. It was great. The bundle I went with could use some ajax enabled buttons for the stock and todo lists. I wound up trying together my own ajax tutorials online to supplement the course material.

John explains the concepts really well. The course made grasp of django learning very easy and great. That being said, there are few videos which are repeated in every module (like publishing to git and setting up django project). Those could be consolidated into single module. Also it would be really helpful if there is module which could show how to connect actual databases such as Mysql or mongo db with django

Definitely got me what I wanted coming into the course. At times, John seemed a little ad-hoc when creating the projects and also sometimes went too fast. More than once he'd type something, then clear the screen and go test it and I'd be halfway through typing the code and have to stop the video and back up to finish.

It is an interesting course...leaned many techniques on how to use django and got an exposure to Bootcamp. John is a fun and cool instructor, so makes the sessions engaging. One thing i would appreciate to have more is a more in detailed explanation of what django framework library...

Курс очень полезный! Автор рассказывает пусть и на английском, но отчётливо и понятно! Какого углубления в python я не заметил, лишь базовые вещи. Тут можно научиться создавать сайт на django. Какие-то комментарии давать излишне, всё чему вы научитесь в курсе - автор написал в описании к курсу.

The course is easy to follow, the production quality is nice. The instructor is easy to listen to and very natural. But the student needs to know that the course only covers the specific creation of the websites mentioned and not Django as a whole. The student is given a thorough introduction, but that it what it is, an introduction, Not a comprehensive teaching of how Django works. Enjoyed. 5/5.
