Course Description

In this hands-on course, you’ll discover how to shift from traditional line-by-line programming to a “vibe coding” approach, where natural-language prompts drive AI agents to write, test, and deploy your applications. Inspired by Andrej Karpathy’s vision, vibe coding lets you focus on guiding and refining AI output, rather than wrestling with every detail of syntax. You’ll watch AI tools like Cursor and Windsurf create files, install dependencies, and execute commands—all from simple English instructions.

What this course covers

  • Introduction to the “vibe coding” mindset and its origins

  • Overview of leading AI-powered coding tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable, GitHub Copilot)

  • Hands-on projects

  • Best practices for vibe coding

  • Core software development practices adapted for AI workflows

Who this course is for

  • Complete beginners curious about building apps without writing every line of code

  • Developers eager to speed up prototyping and learn to guide AI output

  • Anyone who wants to understand how AI changes the software development life cycle

Key skills you’ll gain

  • Natural-language prompting: describe app ideas in plain English and turn them into working code

  • AI-guided debugging: identify, troubleshoot, and refine AI-generated code

  • Project organization: structure files and folders for clarity and maintainability

  • Version control with Git: track changes, manage branches, and roll back safely

  • Automated testing: write simple tests to verify functionality

  • Deployment automation: configure one-command or CI/CD pipelines to launch your app

I teach IT professionals what I wish I'd known earlier.

My foundation is built on years in the trenches as an Agile Enterprise Software Developer, engineering solutions for everything from fast-paced start-ups and SMBs to large global corporations. I hold recognized roles as an AWS Community Builder, Postman Supernova, and GitLab Hero, alongside a deep history of securing and building major open-source projects.

For over a decade, I've taken that real-world experience and quietly built one of the largest learning communities around API tooling, test automation, and DevOps practices. What started as a side YouTube channel turned into hundreds of thousands of learners, conference talks, and team workshops at companies most IT professionals have heard of.

The thread through all of it is the same: take something that looks intimidating and break it down so anyone can understand it in plain language.

Lately, I've been spending more time on practical AI in the workplace. I look at how teams can leverage AI for both everyday knowledge work and hands-on IT engineering, like coding and testing. I focus on cutting through the hype to figure out how AI actually helps IT professionals get work done, build, and ship faster. New formats, same approach.

One of the tools used (Windsurf) no longer seems to exist. Otherwise, this was pretty good!

Good course for anyone who wants to understand the basics of vibe coding. While some tools and examples are outdated nowadays, the core concepts are still relevant and useful.

Through this journey, I gained valuable knowledge in AI-assisted coding, prompt engineering, application development, automation, and productivity workflows. The hands-on learning approach made complex concepts easy to understand and boosted my confidence in building real-world projects using AI tools. Thank you for creating such an awesome course and helping learners

I learned a lot from this course. Started with Copilot for documentation/specs, then used Cursor to build a working app - 2D Space Shooter (https://github.com/rehan1124/2d-space-shooter.git)). Later explored Lovable and created another app - Kanban Board (https://github.com/rehan1124/kanban-personal-fe078f74.git)). Also tried Cursor and Windsurf to complete both projects. Still more to implement, but I feel much more confident now thanks to this course.

I hate being asked every 10 min to give a review so here is the review so I can finish my work assignment ... Second time I get asked to change the review Video stops if I try to look over a different browser tab while I try to finish my actual work so I can get paid so I can feed my family ... (no I can't move it to a different monitor, I have VDI on the other monitor ...)

good overview of available tools Sometimes seems to do things ad hoc, like getting a unexpected error and then saying I'll be right back and fix the error. Could have edited that part out

This course offers a good overview of WindSurf, Lovable and Cursor main features. It also provides some tips and examples on vibe coding and prompt engineering. I particularly enjoyed the debugging shown during the videos, as it shows the real world, where problems happen.

I’ve been using the CursorAI IDE for quite a while, but the knowledge in this lesson is still very useful. It helps me consolidate what I know and improve the areas I’m not yet strong in. Thank you.

I am a consultant in the PM healthcare domain getting more involved with AI projects. I also have started have started doing a side project using Loveable and Supabase. This has been very helpful and will give me an edge and better understanding how things work under the hood. Great course and easy to follow.
