WordPress E-Commerce Development w/ WooCommerce & Storefront (Udemy.com)

Pros: - nice examples with quality sample texts and images - one of the best quick tour of WordPress + Woocommerce I've seen so far - the whole course is extremely practical and useful, most of the things we implement seem to be used in the real word - 97% of the content is still relevant in mid 2021, the minor changes can be easily googled - the first part of the course, he shows an excellent explanation how to use actions and how to find the exact place where we want to hook - the design customizations are well explained as well, he shows how to find the relevant selectors and what are the most common things to use Cons (really minor things): - the explanations are sometimes too short - the accent is a little hard to get used to at first, but no judgement here, English is also a second language for me - sometimes he jumps a little too fast between the windows, seems rushed, but this can be solved by pausing the video - towards the second part of the course we are using multiple filters he doesn't explain how to find just states that he knows them as they are frequently requested by his clients. To be fair he tries to explain some of them in the last sections but doesn't give a clear reference - he doesn't seem to follow the WordPress coding style and didn't show any cool tricks in Atom just basic usage (this is understandable, not a course for Atom)

Accent is difficult to understand. Should have been better accent like UK, US or Indian.

I have been developing websites using WordPress and WooCommerce for many years now. Every so often I like to do a course like this both to server as a refresher and to see if there are any tips or tricks that I can pick up and use. I found this to be a very useful course however I deduct a star for one thing. When the instructor talks about adding additional forms to the checkout page (something I was interested in knowing how to do) he covers how to add the field but now how to capture that information and make it available to the website owner in the order screen. I was able to work this out from WooCommerce documentation but it would be good to include that in the course. Aside from that this is a great course and is highly recommended.

This course was exactly what I needed. It tied the WP "Theory" type ways I learned before all together (ie textbook, YouTube, and, of course, longer, more basic/beginner level WP courses on Udemy.) I will say that I would have not understood a few things had I not taken or done those other things first. This course gave me the confidence I needed.

Slow pace, irritating accent

Bravo au formateur pour ce cours qui rentre également dans certains petits Tips Wordpress comme créer un plugin.

It was excellent, I've learned a lot. large variety of examples on how to do things - which were very relevant. I wish there were more references on how to do things, and why - less feeding with spoon - as they say in my country :) But all in all, very good course which gave me what I had needed and more.

First time learning E-Commerce site. Juan doesn't let me down on this course. Juan provides resources for the course. Walk you through the installation of Wordpress, Woocommerce and how to use Woocommerce. Plus how to development your own style of online store. 5 Stars Juan. Half way though the course and learning what Woocommerce hooks do and how to use them. Well I have finished the course. What did I learn: Juan taught skills on how to use woocommerce How to develop a ecommerce site and how to develop the site the way I would want it. Tools for developing the site and how the file system works. All I can say, if you want to learn to be a developer, this the course for you.

The best course on woo-commerce, I bought two other courses besides this, but this one is hands down the best. I am into third section and I already have that "I can do it" feeling. Excited about the topics ahead where he completely customize the woocommerce theme. I almost let the less number of reviews and ratings fool me, thankfully I have this instructor's other course which is brilliant so I bought this, I am happy I did. I highly recommend this highly under-rated course.

Great !!! Not five but 10 ( Ten ) Star. I am only half of the course but really enjoying death,technique you are showing.Really awesome. 1. Very limited books or ebooks or Video's available on net on "WooCommerce " and that too is on the surface level. 2.Everybody wanted to sell their themes and/or plugins or educational content in video or in book format by giving very less and expecting more from reader/student. But your course is really in depth & new technique. Few Suggestion : Please reduce your speed while CSS and Text editor and browser developer console. For us it is too fast to digest the thing. Please upload all scripts,Plugin etc. of this course. Thanks.
