It seemed good. But once I tried to follow the steps they don't match reality. So I am in a very confusing spot, with no knowledge of how to get out of it. You said that logging in to bluehost you could install wordpress with a simple command. Not so. And you said my site would be there., Not so. Dissapointed.

PRO TIP: I took this course just for learning purposes, I do not have a business that needs a website, so I did not want to pay for website hosting. The course guides you to use bluehost which looks great. but if you just want to learn and don't want to spend money to host little website for learning purposes check out 000webhost, you get the VERY basics of hosting for free, and you can do everything in this course!!

I am from computer science background but web designing had never been my area of interest. Taking up this course has really helped me in understanding the concepts on web page creation.Since developing a web page using wordpress doesn't require coding knowledge,its way too easy in creating attractive web pages and handy with all drag and drop options.Thank you Daragh...this course was amazing.

This course is based on a premium theme, and all course takers will learn that specific theme or the themes from the specific theme vendor. This course could be a section on more general WordPress training.

Excellent course!!! I wonder why such a brilliant course about wordpress site setup on bluehost was not created long back. One thing the author could have talked a bit more about was related to payment gateways on the site. Rest, I recommend every students to just finish this course as a primer before you try out with any other course elsewhere.

Daragh is an engaging and knowledgeable instructor. It gave me an introductory boost to get moving with learning how to use Wordpress. The knowledge is somewhat basic but good for beginners. I've set up the initial site, but am looking for further instruction on customization. There is an offer with an affiliated discount link to Bluehost for hosting. However, I was disappointed in some of their initial sales practice and feel they did some "sneaky" things that ended up costing me more than expected I have resolved them now. I suggest waiting until the end lecture before deciding whether to go with the Bluehost offer -- do some research for other hosting services and make the best decision you can. I will consider taking some further courses from Daragh in future.

Good for a newbie for understanding the course. Just for suggestion, you may add some tips when you want to setup manually for wordpress on local or hosting that not support Wordpress like Bluehost did. Overall, your course is great. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice life.

Ultimately I was pretty happy with the course. The instructor seemed to know what he was doing and made WordPress management pretty simple. I think what could help this course is more emphasis on free stuff. Free themes, free hosting, that kind of thing. One thing that free does for you is allow you to be more hands-on. You don't have a string of plugins doing the work for you.
