I usually use PPT and Figma for my work, and I loved how this course provided fresh inspiration on how to structure flowcharts and one-page documents.

A great comprehensive course, showcasing the different software/platforms and techniques to produce professional GDD's.

Materials do not match with content displayed—an example of a flowchart. Also, for GDD, you mention you have the example, but I did not find it anywhere. It's quite hard to follow and see the example since it's not accurate/same et al.

I think the teacher explain in very easy way and it’s perfect for the beginner. I expect more talking video than documentation but it’s all useful

I finished the course in a short time. Very useful in terms of the documentation needed for designing and developing a game. I really liked the fact that it is a course full of exercises. I didn't really like the lessons on Google Docs and Figma, but only because I use other more professional tools. But if you don't have experience with this type of tools, especially Figma, they are valuable lessons. As for me, the course inspired me on how to best use my tools to design my games. If we have to find a flaw, maybe some things could have been covered in more detail, but I trust the teacher that in one way or another he will be able to provide us with insights. I give full marks to this course in which you can see the commitment and experience of the teacher, not to mention that there are no other courses on the subject. I recommend it to ALL those who develop video games and still don't know how to document their games. This course is not only useful for those who work in a team, but also for those who work as solo developers like myself.

The course is very practice focused which is rare and very much appreciated. This is just what one needs to get the fundamentals of writing a good GDD.
By Sarah Omar on 12/19/2023
As a game developer trying to create her own GDD without any game design experience, Gabriel has efficiently taught me how to structure my thoughts and bring out my ideas in an organized document.
By Olga Prokhorova on 12/14/2023
Course is amazing, easy to understand and helpful. One problem is the pronunciation of the author. It's really difficult to decipher words and makes experience a real challenge regarding that subtitles are not precise most of the time.

Organization of large projects is indispensable. That may be common sense but in practice It's not simple even for those who've studied the design bible. Not knowing methods of organizing and implementing the present ideas leave the project development disabled. This course is great. Steps, reasoning, the Concepts and implementation are in this course. The presentation is structured well so the student remains organized. This course is a course about organization and externalizing thoughts and ideas. It's just what I was looking for. I do hope there will be updates in the future, if only to give us all an even better edge.
