Zabbix Application and Network Monitoring (Udemy.com)

Too many info not related to zabbix itself but i suppose it`s very good for novice as it have basic diagnose info, like how to check if port is open, if we can ping it, etc. Also here is too many data related to some VPS/VDS/Cloud hosting providers which can also be good for novice. At the same time, zabbix is very good covered so i can recommend it.

Excellent introduction to Zabbix. The instructor keeps a fast pace while still explaining concepts clearly, and the course covers nearly everything I hoped to learn. The only area I wish had a bit more detail was the Zabbix API token which I'll be happy to explore myself. Still, a great course and definitely worth taking. Thanks Sean!

I am having great experience learning through this course. It is, off course an advanced course in the sense that you should have descent knowledge of Linux, Scripting and overall IT skills as prerequisites. But it is very well documented and the teacher is a pro. As an alternative to high cost trainings this would be the best choice I think.

the course is very fast that means u have to reduce speed to even grab a idea what is happening, some times find a need of little info why we need to do certain things n why its required , if we have to just read a tutorial n do the things then why a teacher is required.its just doing some task by reading instructions n no explaination. disaster n boring

Did a significant about of rewinding and rewatching as we tried to implement some of the different sections. It wasn't until around course 42 that we started losing how to get from point A to point B. But there was enough coverage in there to get out of the gate before bringing in Zabbix professional services to help complete our deployments. I wish there was a section on the Maintenance modes as well as the SLA tools.

Sean is one of the best instructors I've seen. A lot of training I've seen just shows basic setup and doesn't dive into how to do it safely and securely in production. This Zabbix class covered a lot of scenarios like how to do encryption, proxies, when and why to make one choice over another. The production value of the audio and video was top-notch. Sean embeds himself in the corner of the screen so it feels like instructor-led training rather than just listening to some audio while a mouse moves around on screen. Excellent course, very detailed, full of practical examples, exactly what I needed. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking to get the maximum knowledge on Zabbix in a minimum amount of time. The teacher is obviously very experienced in the area and have spent lots of time meticulously preparing the lessons and the additional resources.
