Good material, instructor is very knowledgeable and has a great pace for you to learn the concepts! Andy walks you through the "why" as well as the "how". This helped to understand how I can use AI effectively. Only negative is the video resolutions are not always clear. They will pixelate if you have a large screen. I found myself having to shrink the browser window to make the video cleaner...which of course can make it a bit more difficult to see some of the detail when Andy is covering a specific topic. Otherwise, if you want a great foundational start for AI, this is a great course!

From the start, your teaching method has been fantastic! Steady pace, excellent knowledge on the program, extensive advice on how to follow along and what can I say, you have a great sense of humour! This course is useful and it provides useful tips and tricks to enhance your Illustrator skills. Andy provides us with simplistic and fun examples during the course and really is enthusiastic in making us lear, in my opinnion he is one of the best lecturers out there. Keep it up. His style is great and easy to follow, his explinations of the tools being used and how he go to the tools is brilliant as well. The only one short fall in this course is that we didnt really do any excersizes, I understand it is up to us to attempt it but maybe one or two big fun projects would have been awesome! But all in all this class is superb. Thank you Andy for helping me learn/adapt a skill for the future! Cheers

Update: 11/20/2017 I have completed the course. For someone who is looking for an overview of the ins and outs of Illustrator this is a good place to start. The videos are short and keep you engaged. I am half way through this course. It has a lot of valuable information and tips demonstrating the usage of the program. The instructor is knowledgeable about the subject. The lessons are in bit size which makes it easy to comprehend the information and absorb. I would like to be able to create something with the lessons instead of just breezing over the how to use.

This has to be the most definitive and user friendly course that I have taken about Adobe Illustrator. I have run through the course numerous times and re-runs have taught me something new on each occasion, encouraging me to dig just that little bit deeper into the inner workings of what is a complex design package. If you are new to Illustrator as I was last year, don't worry. Andy Anderson and his dog 'Spot' will get you up and running so that you can produce good looking Design Work in a matter of weeks, as I did, enabling me to produce the Wedding Invitations and Place Settings for my daughter's wedding in Spain. I couldn't take all the plaudit myself as most of it was down to the teaching of Andy Anderson. Remember, 'Begin with the end in mind. I'll definitely be going back for more teachings from the indomitable Andy when I delve into Photoshop later this year. I hope he has improved his joke telling repertoire by then!

Two years ago when I signed up the this course, I only wanted to get some basic stuff done. Now going back full swing back into this course as I am doing a new project, I am just amazed how much I have learnt from this course. From a complete newbie to one who can now even prep some artwork to a professional printer! I am still at learning stage but having google through so many other Youtube videos. I can say in all honesty say these: 1) Great coverage 2) Amazing tips & shortcuts which are very helpful to save time 3) Andy has a teaching style & voice that make this course easier to absorb. Definitely one of the best course I have subscribe & learnt so far! THANKS ANDY, BEEN A GREAT HELP! I am not done yet still going back to your tutorials to practice more:)

I’ve done much online learning. This is one of the most professional courses I’ve experienced. So much information to get the ball rolling. He doesn’t just teach you how to use the program, he teaches you everything he has learned since he started. He teaches you efficiency habits. He is showing you how to unleash your inner creativity while wasting less time using the program. This course is worth the full price let alone any other. Thank you for the information Adam! It’s invaluable!

There is a ton of useful material in the course and I learned a lot. While at times the instructor seems a bit pedantic, he definitely knows his stuff and can explain things very well. The pacing is effective. If you can master the material in the course, you'll be well into the upper intermediate range of Illustrator users. However, the course falls short on providing opportunities to apply the concepts. The "projects" are merely short tutorials, and while you can use the resources and follow along with the instructor, I never felt like I was given chances to build, create, and apply the concepts in more complex projects that would have helped reinforce the learning. This course would be amazing if each section included a more complex "challenge project", for example, where the instructor provided an image that you had to try to recreate in Illustrator without his guidance. Also, buyer beware. There is zero support for answering questions in this course. Still, I'm glad I took the course and I am definitely better at Illustrator than when I started.

Love the detailed explanation on the different tools and exercises. Andy shows you an in depth look at the program. I have watch different tutorials on illustrator, but never manage to finishf them. Andy's course is one of the best, I manage to finish it because the instructor is very engaging and gives concise explanations on the program all the way till the last chapter. The last couple of chapters on the intend of projects where most helpfull to me, I usually have doubts on how to save projects but Andy clear that for me. Thank You Andy!

Beginner course to familiarize oneself. Afterwards, a course to step through all the tools with working steps, so you know what Illustrator has in its toolbox whenever you find the need. I believe I still only know 10% of the capabilities of Illustrator after watching thins course. I was hoping to acquire a better working knowledge of all that Illustrator is about. This is a bare bones beginner course, and there are hundreds of these out on the internet. More advanced courses are difficult to find.

I'm about half way through this course and I have to say job well done for the guys at Infinite Skills. Andy Anderson is clear and concise in his instruction and there's an air of Walter White'iness about him. I find some course instructors ramble on and often seem unsure of what there speaking and don't get to the point soon enough. I wish this guy taught everything!. I'm confident that anyone wanting to get started with Adobe Illustrator will love this course.

Great instructor. I learned serveral nice common sense shortcuts and techniques in the first dozen lessons alone. Instructor gives clear, specific examples.

I am currently taking an Illustrator Class and I needed some variety and detailed professional instruction and introduction to using the tools, setting up workspace, and unlocking other features that take introduction / instruction on their use.
