Adobe Premiere Pro CC: Learn Video Editing In Premiere Pro (Udemy.com)

My main focus as a beginner to Adobe Premiere is to understand the main basics in editing from importing date to export the final project, and this course helped me understand it even if it seems a bit dated as by the time I took it I am using the latest update of Adobe Premiere which it may not be the case in this course as I did feel some differences in the Preferences menu. I also have a modest background in After Effects, so this might have helped me a little bit with understanding, but the course gave me what I wanted to learn as a beginner and what I want to work on at the main time and more, I didn't quite focus or paid attention to the extra sources but I am sure it will be handy in the future, and perhaps later on I would go with the advanced lessons when needed. I have tried in another platform to learn Premieres but the course was too overwhelming for starters, but this is a great and friendly course for beginners who want to understand Adobe Premiere.

I feel I am at the beginner end of an intermediate skill level with Premiere, if that makes sense. This was a good refresher; it also put in words some things that I was doing already because of trial and error. It streamlined my understanding and perspective of many aspects of my work flow and provided some useful tweaks that will make me more efficient. If I had been a beginner this would have been an absolutely wonderful launch pad to Premiere. Especially useful for me were the segments about exporting. Export settings were a huge confusion for me for a very long time as I was doing what others suggested or I read online without understanding why. There's nothing more frustrating as a beginner than slogging through hours of inefficient editing (because you don't have a workflow nor do you remember all the shortcuts) and then getting to the export screen and being faced with so many choices and have no idea what they mean. Thanks for the great course.

To be honest I was a bit lost in the first chapter and it took me a while to figure out how to set up my editing workspace identical to yours! But I soon figured out a few things but after that my progress has been good since I figured out that you are on mac, and I am on Windows and come control are like different. well it was merely like figuring out the difference between a left hand drive and a right and drive car! thanks its been goods so far!

I liked very much the way of teaching and explanations. But I would like to have all the different files that you use to go with you in each lesson, that way I think sometimes is easier for the students. Also I think you should update some contents (as the way you did for titles) for all over the course, because for example I used an early version that you and sometimes I've got confused, but that is just a detail. Anyway is a great course and I will definitely recommend! Thank you and congrats!

I really enjoy the way this has been put together - Wills organization of the files in a project will definitely give me back time I would otherwise waste. I have been fooling around with Premiere Pro on my own before this and so far this course has given me an understanding that would otherwise take me too much time to even know a quarter of what has been taught this far. I love video and this course is going to give me the upper edge that I need. :) I am looking forward to mastering Video Editing and helping others!

Great resource to get the basic vocabulary going for premiere pro, especially for someone with no background in videography. the only thing that wasn't clear was because I'm on a pc and the instructors are guiding from a mac. so, shortcuts and other details are a bit different. adding the section with premieres updated way of doing titles and effects was valuable. overall, well worth the $$ and has me feeling much more confident in going back to the film making course i had previously started. I found that watching the whole thing first and then going back through to practice each piece made a big difference. For those of you that are brand new to this, that's what I'd recommend for getting muscle memory in gear. thank you!

Will is a great instructor for beginners. I love that the lessons were to the point and I didn't get bored. He even referenced After Effects, which helps me better understand that software as well. I'll definitely search for more of his content in hopes to find an After Effects lecture. My only complaint is his software isn't the latest PP version but he does mention some of the changes/updates in other videos. I would recommend this video to a friend.

I was able to comprehend these lessons without any hesitation. The instructor was engaging and his content was interesting. I took a course in After Effects right before this one and I found it very difficult but also interesting. I think that by taking the After Effects course first and knowing some Photoshop is what enabled me to breeze through this course. Thank you very much. JRudisill

Clear and easy to understand for the most part! Instructor was very knowledgeable and concise. I noticed the clips for downloading vs clips being used in this video are a little different which could cause confusion for some people. Also, since this tutorial was made in 2015, the version of Premiere Pro CC being used is a little outdated. There were a few spots that I was unable to follow due to some options being either eliminated, updated, or moved to a different spot in CC 2017.

Overall a very helpful and worthwhile course. I like that his information was swift and straightforward, but he moved a little too quickly for me at times. I would've liked a little bit more explanation in some areas, but it definitely gives you enough to get started and finish a simple video project. Thank you for putting this course together. Canadian accent is pleasant :)
