Adobe Premiere Pro CC Tutorial - MasterClass Training (Udemy.com)

This is an excellent course and I learned a lot from it. The instructor is very good and extremely knowledgeable. Unfortunately I could not give a high score as the content is woefully out of date as it was produced on a much older version of the software. Most people will be using the latest version of Premier Pro CC and unfortunately a lot of the key chapters in this course use a very old version of the software - especially colour grading, which was one of the main topics I was interested in. Although you can still learn from the theory, the operation within PP has completely changed so much of the course is completely redundant and you will need to search YouTube and others for these segments which were recorded more recently

Jeff did a marvelous job on this topic. I took his Adobe Audition class before taking this one, which was the reason I chose it. He's a fantastic instructor who keeps the pace moving but gives you a VERY thorough presentation. He comes across as engaging and friendly. I'd love to take more classes with him. Only two suggestions for improvement: 1. When you demonstrate an effect, show it a bit longer so there's time to absorb it. I felt that some of the demonstrations were only a second or two long--not enough time to appreciate what's happening. 2. I'd like more detail on the export process. There are tons of encoding options, but the class had just two short modules on the subject. I'd like more discussion about the major options, codecs, and detail about CBR/VBR/VBR2. Beyond these two very minor quibbles, I can thoroughly endorse the class as an excellent way to learn Premiere Pro! Thanks Jeff!

not up to date with premier pro cc so some lessons are very hard to follow and some I just gave up on due to changes in the software especially chapter 16. Otherwise very good comprehensive training if it was updated to the cc versions it would be a 10 out of 10 course, But sadly lacking due to not being updated and for me the titler section being unworkable is very bad no attempt by the trainer to update this section is very bad, and a definite lack of communication, there are lots of questions and pleas for help which have gone unanswered, overall not an experience I would recommend to anyone. Trying to get the chapter 16 lectures to work was very frustrating. Come on Infinite skills get a grip and sort out this course !!!

Simple and detailed instructions. The pace of instructions with this course are easy to follow along. The instructor really took the time to be repetitive enough with each phase the instructions throughout each module that enable a novice becoming proficient navigating Adobe Premiere Pro. I especially enjoy the time he took introducing valuable short cut key strokes. Bottom line; I really enjoyed the course and will use it as a reference while I continue to progress using the application. Job well done!

Up until I took this course I had a YouTube education on premiere pro. Nothing on YouTube is as comprehensive or in depth as this course is. Takes you from complete beginner to pretty advanced. Working files are great. The instructor is very very logical in his explaining of material. He teaches in a way that makes it seem like it's easier than it is. And it gives you small victories along the way that give you confidence. He will throw in some suggestions of how to use what was taught in an abstract way that you may never have thought of. I enjoyed this very much. For the price it is a steal. Only thing is I wish masking had its own chapters but otherwise this is great. Highly recommend. Be sure to rewatch what you don't understand. Before you continue.

Certainly a great intro to Adobe Premiere. You'll approach you projects quite differently once you get the uncertainty out of the way and this is exactly what this course does. You no longer have to feel constantly frustrated at the interface, you can finally focus on what you actually want to achieve. Great audio quality and good progression of difficulty. I guess some people may be slightly put off by the fact that most of the courses were designed for CS, not CC. I honestly never felt this was a problem.

First of all, The foundation of my learning Adobe Premiere Pro has been built up by Jeff Sengstack, the instructor, who has been providing the main of his professional manner of Video Editing plus teaching the application and software too .... The Only issues I faced is with the different version of Premiere that I have which costs me more effort by doing searching and get the proper info for my Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 rather than Jeff's one which is CS6, so my advice and suggestion is to add 1 or 2 lessons to cover this issues ... Like the Garbage Matte Video Effect doesn't exist anymore with the CC 2017, but it covers it with another techniques in Opacity tools and shape ! ... maybe more easy.... But Over all it is Great Course from Jeff and Udemy and it inspires me to start editing my Videos and footage that I have .. Update: June 12, 2017, 10:50pm I just completed this course. In the beginning, my knowledge of Premiere Pro CC was at a beginner level. This course has provided a great overview of the PPCC software. Having the sample files to practice along with the lessons were key for me because I am a visual person and need to see and do at the same time. The only issue that I have was that PPCC has been upgraded since this course. I don't blame Infinite Skills because Adobe has made so many additions and subtractions, trying to keep up with their pace is a complicated process I am sure. I gave a 4 because some of the files created some issue like. For example, the GIF file that was supposed to be transparent was not. I had to import the file into PS and then resave as a PNG file in order for the project to work as was being demonstrated. Also, note I was working on a MAC so it is difficult to say if this issue would have happened if I was on a windows system. Overall I like the pace and tone of this course. I am taking several other courses from this company and look forward to learning some powerful programs. (P.S Need and editor) I am currently about half way through the course. I have learned a great deal of information on how to operate inside of Premiere Pro CC. Though because I am working on CC there are several clips that do not function well as per the lesson. I hope that by the end I will have a better reason to upgrade my rating.

Lessons are very repetitive and not focussed enough. Examples aren't necessarily ideal and could be trimmed down or more specific. What my overall criticism is, is that the teacher goes through methods that are not applicable in todays age and explains methods that he later tells you is bad and shows you a better way of doing things. I feel the entire course could be tightened and cleaned up to be more targeted and focussed on giving people the understanding of the fundamental functionalities of the program and how the mechanics work.

Very well organized and covered what one can do with Premier Pro CC. The primary challenge is with Premier Pro CC on a Mac and missing Transitions where not all Transitions and Effects are present in PP CC. The secondary challenge is that PP CS6 and PP CC do behave differently enough that some of the lectures required several attempts to match results (especially the selection of Tracks and keyframes in the audio tracks). The third challenge is that with each Project I had to locate the elements and for some the element could not be found. I believe I now have a clear understanding of how to use Premier Pro CC.
