Advanced Automation framework with Appium C# - 2021 Updated (Udemy.com)

I’d say the course is very good, but it does require some prior knowledge of C# and related topics. Since I already have experience with TypeScript, I found it easier to follow along. I was able to implement my new project in C# without any issues, and for that reason, I recommend this course.

I got lost on instalation of the tools because it's outdated, explanation is good and that's the only reason i'm giving two stars, but phrases like "Look my previous YouTube video to understand the instalation of... " Man at least paste the link of the video in the resources, we don't have the time to go and dive into your youtube chanel. Unlucky because it's the only course with Appium C#

Hi karthick , This course is very useful for us. Since facing some difficulties on some part , particularly when Using spec flow , but still trying to reevaluate our issues . And one small suggestion , if possible please provide another Folder for Data Base Connectivity and provide by at least one example , [with query] to validate the data in app .So that we will learn that too . I am building a mobile automation framework for the first time and this course has helped me so much in understanding the various aspects of Appium framework using specflow. Karthik, has done an excellent job by spending more time in coding rather than giving theoretical explanation which is engaging.

I came from Java world automating Web and Mobile. This course helped me a lot to understand how works Appium with c#. When I started automating some stuffs in c# I faced many issues like POM deprecated and others, however I save some time of research thanks to this course. Thanks Karthink!!!

Course material is nice but for a new learner starting with the initial sections might be a little bit tricky as some things might break or come as obsolete (due to the continuous updates that the Appium and Selenium libraries have gone through the years). It is one the best course for people who want to learn the art of automation framework development as each and every step has been explained in detail and it's not a straight forward path which will just tell you what code to write but it will guide you at each step and explain you the need for improvements and refactoring. Through this course, I could somehow relate my automation journey, where initially I used to write the code considering only my current context but then over the time I slowly realized the need and importance of design patterns and code re-usability with a lot of failures and experiences. You might save some failures and leverage on the vast experience of Karthik KK. He is undoubtedly the best trainer on C# based automation solutions. Thanks Sir! Looking forward to grow more together.

Maybe future sections will cover this, but the ScenarioContext they way Karthik is using it is obsolete now. Showing how to get it via context injection will be nice. Even just put a note across that part of the lecture stating that the code is obsolete and link to a youtube video that contains the code with using Context Injection.

Some of the steps have been skipped while explaining how the VS C# code connected to emulator without talking about cordova installation and the issues faced with it. I am not able to install and run the ionic application on my system as smoothly as explained in the videos 8 and 9 of section 1. Also, the course is bit outdated now as the desired capabilities have been deprecated and chrome options being used instead

Great material, leaving 4 stars because the course is not quite finished, there is a lot of room for updates. As for the instructor, Karthik is the only indian instructor that I could follow, so great job.

Karthik is one of the best test architect in Microsoft technology, as his selenium advance course with C#, this course also provides latest framework structure development . His content is very accurate and to the point which focused listeners. At the same time, i will expect his kind support and reply when found any issues.
