This course is very useful. I have been learning a lot, LDAP or other topics like squid proxy, LVS are fundamentals to upgrade own skills also is good review argument like samba server, firewelld maybe can I suggest inserting some other troubles' problem that one could find in administration journal.

By Azriel Ho on 12/30/2022

Content was well covered, but needs to articulate on some points as I wasn't able to understand some of the points and should have provided more notes. For instance, he should have provided the slides for the last chapter and provided notes explaining the diagrams he drew in the lectures, doing so would have helped me understand the points better

By Andries Burger on 7/9/2022

The planned lectures indicate great material to be covered, but UDEMY jumps the gun by asking us for this feedback when you completed the introduction and first lecture. I will update this when I am done with Lecture 4 of this course; then I will have a better understanding of how the material is conveyed. Update: The halfway mark - course measures up but is very repetitive. Also, background sounds are distracting.

Could this be done better using DHCP rather than manually setting IP addresses? Does IPv6 change the story of how Linux System Administration works? Some of the material seems out of date. ifconfig has long been deprecated in favor of iproute2. Some of the terminology used seems to come from the days of the 2.6 kernel. This course needs a refresh.

Most of the course material I found helpful, though he doesnt coverall needed topics. Some of the course is a little aged. But still a good place for information and reference. Can't say too much for his highlighted "pauses" on topics, though.

Well, I need to thank you for the effort in doing this course. however, this course supposed to be advance and did not go in deep with a few of the modules as I was expecting to. namely, LDAP AND SElinux. also in the booting process and troubleshooting you mentioned that you were going to explain the systemd booting process and troubleshooting but you never did, and this was very sad. in any case , the othe lesson were to my satisfaction.
