The course provides a strong foundation and is well-structured for beginners and intermediate learners. The instructor explains concepts clearly, and the hands-on examples are easy to follow. Overall, it's a valuable learning experience. However, I would recommend updating some of the course content to reflect the latest tools, technologies, and industry practices. With the rapidly evolving tech landscape, adding newer modules or refreshing the existing examples would make this course even more relevant and impactful. Still, it's a great course to build a core understanding of manual and automated using the DevOps tools—it just needs a few updates to stay current.

Os questionarios tem mais de uma resposta correta.....O instrutor refaz demais os mesmos cenários ao invés de aproveitar o que ja foi implementado. Porém, acredito que aprendi e relembrei muitas coisas neste curso.

I learned a lot about devops tools and processes in this course but honestly the format of the course is a complete mess (or maybe it's just me). There is too much repetition in every section. Maybe "practice makes perfect" is the whole point of it all but if anyone wants to review something they could simply go back and rewatch, instead of repeating the same steps over and over and creating so many servers that do the same thing and lengthening the course! A more cumulative approach would be the best IMO. Also the course material is very outdated which caused me to spend way too much time trying to figure out how to achieve the same results with newer versions and references to menu options on web pages that were either completely removed or moved somewhere else on the site. Anyways thanks!

The course is absolutely GREAT. If you are a Java developer wanting to add devops skills to you resume, its a MUST. BUUTT.... you will have to work for it, since there are some OUTDATED sections, concerning software versions and some procedures. This is very EASY TO OVERCOME by just checking the current version and documentation for each tool you install, such as nexus, jenkins, etc, using the proper java and postgres version for each one. I strongly suggest not using Amazon Linux 2023, but explicitly selecting Amazon Linux 2 in EC2, so you can better follow along with the teacher, but choose to install the later versions of the softwares, checking its documentation first. Do that, and follow the teachers instructions and you will be fine. You better be familiar with linux commands, but if you are not, it is an excelent opportunity to search in google or chatgpt for each linux command that the teacher uses and understand it. Again, THANK YOU for this course. Invaluable skills.

Lots and lots of repetition in the same tasks in different sections. The actual content is roughly 4-5 hours. He also misses many useful details regarding the subject tools. You are better off this course. there are many better options here in Udemy alone.

The course is good, has interesting things. Really I have learned a lot. However I think there are a lot of duplicated content, it is possible to avoid to repeat same installation videos. And it is good maybe to use an IDE for code development instead of using notepad. Thank you for the course.

Awesome course. I am new to DevOps and did not know anything about DevOps. After going through this course I have better understanding of the concepts. Recommend this course highly to everyone who are starting new to Devops. Thanks Shikhar for creating this.

Great course, I learn a lot from the bottom of my hearth THANKS! However, I have a concern would you please give more detail when you change directories? giving more details about why and when to change directories. Also, if they were a listing of all commands and theirs use, I think things should be way easier to understand. Thanks

I really think this is a GREAT COURSE! It explains everything step by step, YES IT IS VERY REPETITIVE but I think that is the good thing, because it lets you learn al steps carefully. You then start getting comfortable and and the course gets really easy and fun (a little tricky sometimes). I used Putty, but I think MobaXterm can be better. Another point is, you get learn AWS (EC2, ECR, IAM and more) how to deploy and use instances etc. Finally, you need to give your billing info; card number etc.. (on AWS) You really don't spend that much, I spent 0.62USD in the entire course so less than a dollar JUST REMEMBER TO ALWAYS TERMINATE YOUR INSTANCES, NO STOP, TERMINATE or your bill is going to be high.
