Course Description
This entire course module is based on AWX, the open-source version of Ansible Tower.
A good way to start learning is by using AWX, as it serves as the foundation for Ansible Tower.
Ansible AWX is the open-source version of Ansible Tower, which is a web-based interface for managing Ansible automation.
Ansible AWX is supported by the community, which means there is no official help if you run into problems.
Ansible AWX has all the basic features to manage automation tasks but doesn’t have some advanced features like security tools or reporting.
Ansible Tower is the commercial (paid) version of AWX, with extra features that businesses need.
Ansible Tower comes with customer support from the company behind Ansible (Red Hat), which can help if you run into issues.
Ansible Tower has more advanced features like security tools, better reporting, and the ability to handle larger and more complex environments.
Ansible Tower requires a valid subscription to run on CentOS 8 or 9. Ansible Tower is not free. It is a commercial product that requires a license to use.

My company is using AWX sources, and I was tasked to learn and see if this is a good choice for my team. This has been so far great, and I am done all of examples. Using minikube is new to me and great tool to learn.

The Explanation on the overall Ansible Tower features is very good. Learning was in very simple way. Though the course is 3.5 hours of total time, it teaches all concepts very clearly.

Diversion to Git tutorial was not required. RBAC example could be more enterprise level. Focus should have been more on Ansible Tower functionalities. Does it support script execution or not. Accent should be neutralised to make it international level. Thanks!

this is a solid course, really recommended, but still has beginner level so, if you were expecting some "crazy stuff" this is not your course

The course really helped me to overcome all my current issues with ansible tower which am familiar now. Thanks, shikar sir for your wonderful course content and in-depth diving into each topic.

excellent. i really do enjoy this course as it is exactly what i was looking for - a great primer to ansible tower...a bit more depth woulde be great to cover some more advanced topics (variables, large scale structuring and how to deal with huge amounts of playbooks, how to create workflows, form,..)

ansible automation and ansible tower together a very good course..after taking those courses..i am able to create my own playbook and run that in ansible tower.. concepts are explained in a clear way, these concepts are enough to clear the interview as well..reading the ansible documents was very tuff from internet..however these ansible videos saved a lot of time and understood the concepts very well.. i am looking forward for devops course videos from shikar..

The best online class I was able to find on Ansible Tower. A good introduction to Ansible Tower that will help you to be able to configure Ansible Towers most important features. You will not learn anything about the command line version of Ansible in the course, so you will need to have the knowledge before taking this course. Much of the content is repetitive and there is no explination of how to modify Ansible Playbooks to get them to work with Ansible Tower. The authors english is a little hard to follow, the visuals are pretty rough, and the production quality is low, but if you are interested you will follow along with him.

It was a very good introduction to Ansible Tower, good work. Section 6 was not really necessary because git knowledge is a must have for any system administrator or devops.
By Shakti Shwetanshu on 8/8/2019
Almost covered most of the topic i am looking for. I was also looking for Ansible tower uses with the CICD pipeline in which the playbook run from config.json or config.yml file of ansible tower. Though this course is not entitled for that but hoping if instructor add this part , it will be very helpful. Rest this course gives a better understanding on ansible tower and a great start for beginners.
