Hi, my name is Daniel. I am a physician but also a true allrounder. I made my first 3d model when I was just 12 and created my first simple 3d game at the age of 13! In the following 20 years I worked with plenty 3d and 2d software and game engines. The past 10 years I worked as a freelancer and made 3d artwork for universities, other game designers and companies using Modo. I am a self learner, using online video course websites like Udemy.
I also am a composer and sound designer. See my big course on synthesizers (Serum, Harmor, Synthmaster) and become one yourself!
Finally I also do a lot of illustration work. My favourite software for vector artwork is Affinity Designer. Check out my course!

As an introduction for beginners it was very good. It gives you enough knowledge of the tools and enough examples to get started and experiment yourself without feeling lost. I did miss perhaps having a few exercises to test skills, especially towards the end of the course when you're familiar with the tools and the settings. I would have preferred to spend time on exercises than the time the course used showing how things worked in Rocket Cake.
