Explicaciones sencillas de las herramientas a usar

This course skips all the boring explaining and gets straight to the fun tools.

If you have no basic experience using an editing program before, then this might not be what you're looking for, as this course gets straight to business, which is why i love it.

clear to follow. Does simple first and then builds up. Pace a bit quick, but ok. Already learnt a lot.

As I had not read the description clearly enough, I had clearly signed up and paid for the wrong coarse. I found that the further the coarse advanced the more irritable I became. I mean who the heck wants to turn a JCB Digger into a spaceship!! The point of the coarse I know is to try and get you familiar with Affinity Photo tools etc. I fully realise this fact but there are obviously easier ways of explanation. So without wishing to offend I thought that the coarse was just a self indulgent exercise showing off the undoubted talents of the Instructor. Sorry but not for me.

My main takeaway from the course was a variety of strategies involved in making a composite. However, the two projects at the end were way too much alike. The space ship and the spider could be first cousins! And using the pen tool over and over was tedious to watch. I'd suggest picking two very different projects that involved very different compositing techniques with different selection tools. With that said, I'm not sorry I took the course. But, if you are brand new to Affinity Photo, this is NOT the place to start.

the course content is good for beginners I find a lot of info is covered fairly quickly and the quick keys are used a lot without showing the alternative way of getting the same result. I think both ways should be shown

Enjoyed to course and got a good understanding of the techniques required. Maybe more info about attention to detail with cropping and how to refine stuff like that.

Hector was good and straight to the point great session!

Clear voice. Showing each step. He goes too fast, especially for my screen, which is large, though obviously not large enough. When he says "click here," if I don't catch where his cursor is, I don't know where he is clicking, and get behind. "Click here, in the lower right of your screen," would work better for me.

I like how Hector cuts right to the chase on how to manipulate photos.

Update: I have now finished the course. Hector has really taught me how to use this photo editing software the way the professionals would. Five star course.
