This may be the best course on portrait retouching I have seen. I really liked the way Mr Khalkho went through the workflow, explaining every step very clearly, without a lot of unnecessary information. I have owned Affinity Photo for a couple of years now, but I have been very slow to adopt it. I have complete confidence that I can use these techniques right away using Affinity Photo without any real problems.

So far, its OK. Lesson one "Preparing the photo for retouching", could be improved upon, with deeper explanations and examples of what "Exposure", "Blackspot", "Brightness", "Contrast" etc are, how they effect different pictures (with visual examples). How "Exposure", "Blackspot", "Brightness", "Contrast" sliders actually work again with examples, so the learner is getting a deeper introduction to them and with that a better understanding of how to use them. The instructor just jumps straight into messing with the various different slider settings without any explanations as to how they work, which isnt very informative
