Course Description
CODE UP TO DATE AS OF MARCH 2016
This AJAX for beginner's tutorial course will teach you what AJAX is and how to start using it with PHP to create excellent web applications.
---------------------------------------------------------
Hands on project
On this course we will create a real AJAX application that will give you the skills you need to start implementing AJAX to your projects or start you on your web development journey.
----------------------------------------------------------
AJAX is all around us, just type something in the UDEMY search bar and you will automatically see words appear in the input; that's AJAX in action.
Do you need AJAX? I think the question should be, do you want your applications or websites to be awesome? Or course we do, right? YES.
I don't like to show off, but my students love me, and I love them, here are some of the reviews I get.

I liked the personality and the voice of the teacher. I knew a lot about PHP and JavaScript before, which helped me to follow the topic with Ajax and Jquery. But if you are a beginner, I find the jumping around and not finisching the lectures confusing. I had to write my code sometimes to fix things, which is something that shouldn't happen in a course that is open to all levels. Maybe you just give a brief overview on what you are going to do in the next topic and then do that, and not not write some code, erase it, move it and just say i like it better-Explain why and what for. It is part of every programming project to structure yourself and document everything. By writing my own code and look for my mistakes I still learned a lot thou. God bless you.

Yeah its really awesome learning with you. I learnt how ajax works , more importantly how to use it practically. Many logics like how are we going to get control over an element for further processing, how to add content dynamically. I think you should have added some validations for adding a car, like blank input, some special characters should not be accepted. But overall it was nice experience learning with you. Dear brothers and sisters you should try this course if u really want to step up into an application that handles database. It will give u better start.

Edwin always makes me laugh. I know Edwin from the past talks to Edwin in the future, but I am sure Edwin from the futures does not talk to Edwin in the past. I try to take all of his courses as I learn more from him than anyone else. The content is extremely thorough, and his endless support with the topic is very reassuring. Edwin goes a little fast sometimes, so I just slow down the speed of the video. Always 5 stars because he puts an extensive amount of work that shows he is very invested in doing the best he can. Thank you! Update: As always Edwin is 5 stars. Never ceases to amaze me with his skills. Udemy couldn't have a more thorough and dedicated instructor. I noticed the delete error in the end lectures, and before I even had a chance to inquire Edwin had it all covered. It really impresses me how he allows himself to make mistakes and share the solutions. If you were to simply edit and correct then we wouldn't know how to troubleshoot. Very much appreciated!!

Good course overall. Provides nice coverage of AJAX, plus a simple application that you can build on and use in other application development. My only criticism would be that the code is a bit messy; I'd much prefer if the code indentation and line spacing was consistent - which is much needed in professional programming. Other than that nice course, worth the money and Edwin is especially wonderful to listen to with the enthusiasm he brings to the lectures.

This was a great course, easy to follow and the instructor was clear on the goals for the application and why he was going through different processes. Edwin is great: real, honest, and fun. I would have liked a little more in-depth explanation of the ajax functions, as I feel that even after completing this course, my understanding of ajax functions (how to use them, which ones to use) is superficial - but I will certainly need to keep practicing and learning!

This was a great course! I went from knowing nothing about AJAX to gaining a good understanding quickly. I have taken other courses from Edwin and he is a good teacher. His style of teaching is great and involves a lot of details. He does take some time to debug his apps, which I think is great because it helps in learning the debugging process. His attitude is always positive and entertaining. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to learn AJAX.

Fantastic instructor for programming, probably one of the best teachers out there at the minute. At the start of every lecture he motivates you to do good in life. I would buy this man a coffee if I ever met him. Edwin does emphasize on how crucial it is for you to know at least basic PHP and because I already took his beginner course in this subject I was able to make this application in good time. Great stuff Edwin and keep up the good work :)

This is the fourth course I took from Edwin. As always, his lectures are short and to the point (on topic). Quite easy to follow, with good code-along examples to get students started on their journey. Great introductory course to using AJAX for dynamic content. It is helpful, in my humble opinion, to know some basic PHP, HTML, Bootstrap and jQuery/JavaScript to make this a relatively easy experience and to see how all the "pieces" fit together to make dynamic web applications work. Great job Edwin! You did it again, as with your other introductory courses (see above). Jack

Great class man! wow! just really exciting to learn something so powerful. I will have to send you a can of "Bustello Cafe" "Porque, si es bueno, tiene que sel Goya" ha ha ha!!! so that you can keep on truckin with these tutorials. I just don't know where to send it hehehee!!!! Thanks man! Although I forgot to mention that on my end, whenever I ran a query or added a car to the data base it wouldn't work at all. The reason why was because there were errors on the exercise files which were not corrected. For example on the add_cars.php right after the INSERT INTO cars...etc.. on the next line you wrote: $update_car_name instead of $query_car_name. I looked at this closely and figured that this is what the problem must have been and so it was. Everything works well now. Thanks Man!! I'm not tryna be an ass just tryna be a pro like you.

First I would like to say that I can't thank the instructor enough. I have almost all of his courses and enjoy his teaching style. I would also like to recommend this course to anyone who is curious to know how AJAX works. The reason I gave this course five stars is because the instructor takes his time in showing the material and is always adding content to the courses which make the course worth so much more. The instructor is also responsive when asked questions and has developed an impressive community of students that are always willing to assist should you get stuck on a problem. Again thank you for all your help in furthering my education.
