Course Description

The most important tool that you can arm yourself with as a programmer is coding algorithms. Algorithms are the building blocks of coding, which means in order to write any program successfully you would need to write your own algorithm.

As each program grows, you cannot physically write every code for every bit of your website or your program, which is where these algorithms come handy. They are basically a set of rules that you give to the computer to help them solve certain problems. They not only simplify your life as a coder, but also help your computer perform tasks faster and efficiently.

Starting your journey as a programmer with the right tools in hand is important and this is why we have created this beginners guide to coding algorithms to help you maximize your potential as a programmer.

In this course, you will start at the very beginning and understand what exactly algorithms are, why they are important, the different types of coding algorithms, how to write algorithms, and even how to implement them into your JavaScript code.

That’s not all, we will also help you crack the most common interview questions that are asked during a technical round.

This extensive coding algorithms course aims to help you start at the very beginning and break down the complex programming principles into simple and easy to understand segments. While we cover theory extensively, we do not simply stop there. We also focus on the implementation of the different algorithms, which means that in addition to understanding how to write the code, you will also see the code in action.

The course will cover various topics such as an overview of Algorithms, how to ace a technical interview on algorithms, different sorting algorithms (Quick sort, Merge Sort, Shell Sort, Heap Sort, etc.), different search algorithms (Linear, Binary), Advance Algorithms (Palindrome, Armstrong and Fibonnaci Sequence), String Manipulation, Trees, Graphs and so much more!

So, what are you waiting for? Enroll now and become a professional programmer!

I feel like this course material is rushed through. The instructor explains an algorithm, but does so very quickly with little explanation along the way. I also had a hard time understanding her accent. For instance, when talking about quick sort, she kept mentioning a pie-wot. I had no idea what that was until I saw her code and she typed "pivot". Ultimately, I exited the course and doubt I will return to it. Wish I could get my money back.

Some students criticized that the instructor has an accent that is hard to understand. While I agree that the instructor has an accent, it's not hard to understand if you pay attention to what she said. The only reason I am not giving a five star at this point is I haven't reached the point where she talks about the course's main content (algorithms) yet. Will provide an updated review as I make more progress, ----- One week after the start of the course... I am still working on sorting algorithms. I still don't have any problem with the instructor's accent, but the explanation to how the logic was written is really unclear. For each algorithm I just have to do a lot of reading outside of the course content. I feel like the most valuable part of this course is the curriculum, since I can basically look at the curriculum and then go do my research. Also it will be good to use tools like JSFiddle instead of spending time creating JS and HTML files every time. And it will be good to use some good coding practice such as "let" instead of "var". It will also be good to fix the coding error before running the code.

Awesome Course! Stunning instructional exercise. The educator has put a considerable measure of endeavors in growing course materials, outlines, slides and so on learned different calculations and it will assist me with developing all the more new calculations to tackle the issues effortlessly. Much obliged to You.!

It is a very well-balanced version of the course and you will learn a lot at the end of the course.

The instructor accent is very hard to understand, and also, she speaks too fast. This fast + accent makes this training very hard to follow

By Rolando Carias on 6/21/2018

Her accent is too hard to understand. And her coding is very sloppy and not best practices. And it's 2018! Use some modern javascript (because they do test that out in the wild). She should also learn to acknowledge her coding mistake and not just magically show you something that works whilst you know very well the JS code is wrong - but somehow it runs without errors. I will give it to her that she knows her algorithms - but man she is very very dry and repetitive (even in her delivery, for example, she creates an HTML file for every single algorithm and 1/4 of the video is her doing that. I think by the third time, we all know how to create and reference a JS file).

Best Course. I'll surely recommend to others.

Nice tutorial. with the limited resources this the best course on algorithms in java script. I like this course. I'll surely recommend to others.

Amazing Course! Very well explained . Thanks for this course.

By Akash Mehra on 3/13/2018

Some part of the code is not as per coding standards and at some places, there is the difference between code in video and package available.
