Be Approachable & Coach as a Manager (Udemy.com)

This course is very informative for individuals that feel that they are not approachable with their fellow team mates especially their direct reports and it is ideal for people that what to build others by coaching

I really enjoyed this course as I am new in my role and have been left questioning my skills to coach. I feel more confident in my coaching skills as a leader after taking this course.

The course kept asking me to download PDFs that only contained links to further online training. This was a hassle, and a waste of my storage space. It would be better to have the links embedded in the course, or, even better, to have that supplemental content embedded in the course.

In my opinion the content is relevant and useful advice primarily applicable to an in-person office environment. From my personal perspective and experience, I found the Coaching Action Plan, Performance Assessment, and Feedback modules to be the most useful. Aside from the content, the organization and delivery method is cumbersome. 2 min video, then download a pdf., to go through a separate module from there. My suggestion to avoid the constant break in flow, is to embed those elements into the training module. And although the TED talks were interesting resources, that might be something to refer to at the end of the training. Once again, that really disrupted the flow of the training for myself (man with short attention span).

Nice course. A lot of valuable information and non-obvious behavior in various situations. We are human, make mistakes. A good leader is also a good psychologist who reads the emotions of others. Thank You for valuable materials and knowledge :)

There's use of a lot of external resources, (TED Talks, links, etc which is great, but approachability is 15 min and coaching is 15 min so it seemed like there could be more opportunity to go through more concepts vs being sent out of the training for activities. Besides that the training is engaging.

The course was very interesting . I learned a lot such as to be approachable as a manager, Check your non-verbal massage, Reach Out& share, Listen for Better understanding, Clarify Targets, Assess Performance

There are too many forms to download which breaks the continuity. Also my complanies policy doesnot allow to download all forms.

It was excellent

too many links outside of Udemy. Defeats the bite-sized learning approach
