I think this course and the information presented should be a part of everyone's indoctrination to leadership in today's society. It is filled with information that seem common sense but is still a good refresher for individuals who aren't thinking about all aspects of conversation/ statements.

I loved the approach to sensitive topics. I learned a lot and it made me think about my behavior and how I can be more respectful and honor people's boundaries. I took detailed notes even though I didn't have to. I enjoyed the respectful, beautiful language, definitions, and the continued emphasis on respecting others. This was really helpful!

In the Evaluate the Science (section 4). the link to the PDF returned a 404 error. There are some errors in the video narrative in this part. One example: Nature means that you'll get an answer that will lead to a more engaging conversation rather than so. Do you like tacos when you speak with others of a different race or ethnicity?

While I liked the content of the training, I would've preferred all the content be included in the actual presentation, not stashed away in links on pdf files so that the total training time would reflect the actual time for viewing the materials. The course says it is 40 minutes, but watching/hearing all the additional videos included in the links on pdf files takes much more time. That information is valuable and should be included in the main part of the course so it is not overlooked.

I have taken a similar course about diversity in my workplace and this one hits the nail on the head on how to deal with situations, how to be a better person in terms of owning up when you're wrong and giving tips on how to mend bridges. Furthermore I learnt about the term Bystander syndrome which alot of us sadly suffer from but we should definitely do better.

Thank you, Megan Torrance, for including the history lesson on the various generations of workers, there are in the workplace. In the training, "Navigate & Respect Age, Ethnic & Racial Differences." Stressing how value we are all... in all the generations. Reminding / informing the reader of the values, traditions, customs, life experiences and one's childhood experiences, which impacted ones' life. Being considerate, respectful and kind, in a workplace, should always be there. Perhaps, diversity is new to some, or prefer not to change. The world is forever evolving....change is inevitable. We are all in this world together. Thank you, for the subject matter. --LL

I truly enjoyed this course and highly recommend it. The presenter[s] and the resources supplied made worthwhile the time. It has given me a different perspective and understanding of what lies beyond and/or behind the barriers of cultures, ethnicity, and age thus contributors to an organized team force or social group aiming a same goal. I mean, this course has rich information and guided me to see and understand what I've been missing or taken for granted in my every day life. Thank you guys!

Someone askedme if I was special needs. specifically ocd this past fall. My son is ocd as is my father. I found her comment and others she has made to me t be very rude. I was offended because she assumes I am less due to the fact that I am petite. that I 5 S as I work. and I take my time to do the job right the first time. It never went anywere because When I asked employees who had worked with this woman longer I was not really listened to.

The instructor did well and no more suggestion. As per my experience, I came to know that it's harmful to the company to neglect diversity and inclusion. This course seemed also to be a complement to the other course I had just completed; Understanding unconscious baises.
