Course Description

What is the best way to learn a new skill (or improve a current one)?

a) Read a lot of books

b) Think about it a lot

c) Jump in and do it.

If you guessed "Jump in and do it", you'd be correct!

While spending time understanding theory is important for learning a skill; getting your hands dirty, practicing, and immersing yourself in the thing you're learning will yield much better results.

Want to learn a new language? Speak it.

Want to learn how to play a game? Play it.

Want to learn a sport? Practice it.

Want to learn to be funny? Tell jokes. (I can tell you from experience that, by using this method, my success rate has improved my humour! Now I only bomb a joke 8 times out of 10...)

Want to learn how to code? Start building things. A lot of things.

Here's the catch...

If you have no direction, no roadmap, no end-goal in mind, and nobody to hold you accountable, the best case scenario is you'll incrementally improve your ability, and worst case scenario is you'll fail.

Which is why I created this course, CSS in 30 Days!

Each day for the next 30 days, you and I will learn CSS by building a new project in plain, vanilla CSS without the use of templates, frameworks or plugins.

By the end of the 30 days, you'll have a strong grasp on CSS, and more importantly, the knowledge, ability and confidence to start using CSS in your own projects.

Who is CSS3 in 30 Days for?

Web Designers & Web Developers who are just starting out, or have Intermediate Level experience with CSS and want to have a strong grasp on CSS3 without relying on Frameworks, Code Snippets, Templates or Plugins.

Let's get started!

I recently had the pleasure of taking a CSS course, and I must say that it was an exceptional learning experience. The course instructor's teaching style truly stood out, making it easy for me to grasp the intricacies of CSS coding. One of the most impressive aspects of this course was the instructor's ability to explain code concepts with remarkable clarity. Even as a beginner, I found the explanations to be easily digestible and understandable. The instructor had a talent for breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps. This made it incredibly easy to follow along and implement the concepts being taught. The video content in the course was exceptionally clear and well-produced. Each video was meticulously crafted to provide a comprehensive view of the topic at hand. Whether it was understanding CSS selectors, styling elements, or tackling more advanced topics like responsive design, the videos left no room for confusion. One of the standout features of this course was the emphasis on clear coding practices. The instructor not only taught us how to write CSS but also stressed the importance of clean, organized, and maintainable code. This approach not only helped me learn CSS but also instilled good coding habits that I can carry forward into my future projects. In addition to the content, the instructor's teaching style was engaging and kept me motivated throughout the course. Their passion for CSS was evident, and it made the learning experience enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this CSS course to anyone looking to learn or enhance their CSS skills. The instructor's ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner, coupled with the high-quality video content and emphasis on clean coding practices, makes this course a standout choice. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your CSS skills, you'll find this course to be an invaluable resource for your web development journey.

Interesting Projects. But maybe the course is not designed for beginners. Sometimes the intructor jump to the code and we have to check other sources to understand the new CSS properties etc.

I enjoyed concentrating on CSS and seeing a lot of things you can do with it. Great course!!!

I am noticing some slight differences between what is being shown in the course compared to the code in the final results. For example, on screen you are using a double : but in the Final css you use a single :. Don't get me wrong, it is not a complaint but rather just letting you know of the inconsistency. Also, some of the effects do not function in Chrome.

I'm only done with the first couple of lessons, but css is already less of a mystery to me.
