Ultimate Web Designer & Web Developer Course (Udemy.com)

I loved how Brad breaks down how to use Figma, especially for someone who is not completely as tech-savvy as I am. The class started off great, learning about HTML and CSS was very fun and tapped into my creative side, but I know that's not all there is to Web Development. Once we got into JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP, it became more difficult to keep up, especially when we had to download more complicated programs. I don't have a Mac Book, so many of the programs that worked for Brad didn't work well for me at all and when I tried to reach out to someone for help, it took forever for them to get back to me. By the end of the course, I was more confused than ever, and then for it to end with us learning something we already went over at the beginning of the course...it was like what was the point of that. Overall, it's an ok course if you want to get your feet wet in tech... but I would definitely not recommend this course if you wanted to dive deep into web dev or for older adults looking for a career change.

I would like to say that he's the best ever tutor I had in my life ,he has designed and built this course so intensely that its benefitting me a lot, I'm literally loving it and enjoying it, and his sense of humor OMG! that's what making this course the best one for us to be consistent, I'm really enjoying the learning process. My strong suggestion is that anyone who's looking for web-designing course should go for this one. You will thank me later.

This course was very thorough! There were instances in some lectures where the code had changed since the course was first rolled out which got a little confusing. One of the things I liked was that the pace of the lectures increased throughout the course. It forced me to "keep up" and not just regurgitate the material. Brad is very supportive and responsive to questions and issues. I feel I have a very broad knowledge of web development and have actually built my first website for a client! Thanks code college.

Everything you need (and more) to start with web development is packed in this great, comprehensive course. Brad, with his guest instructors, covers wide range of web development technologies that will provide you, as the course is titled, ultimate web development experience. I found Brad to be a great and a bit "different" (I believe that was his goal with all funny appearances, to stand out from others) instructor. Positiveness that you get through his videos will inspire you to complete the course and go beyond. I would highly recommend this course for anyone starting with or extending current knowledge in web development.

Brad did a FANTASTIC job with this class. Very engaging, fun and light. As a teacher, I know how hard it can be to make dry and boring stuff fun and interesting and he did it with ease, energy and encouragement (alliteration not intended :-S). I also appreciate that the student gets to see him mess up and go through the process of finding the problem and fixing it. It's nice to know that pros even get it wrong sometimes! Bravo!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and was pleasantly surprised at how much information was actually covered. While this course contains only 30 hours of lecture videos, potential students should expect to spend much longer than that for the design and development of their own site presented by the Self Challenges. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to get into the world of web-design or web-development. Really great course and so easy to follow. Brad does an amazing job instructing and makes the code very understandable. When I made it a few lectures into the MySQL section I was nearly cheering because it all kind of came together for me, being a former DBA. I was totally geeking out XD But I was more excited that I now have a foundation for a very valuable skillset. And with practice I'm only going to become better and more efficient. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to become a web dev :D

Lots of content, but a little short on consistency of best practices. You will do wonderful forms in CSS and Javascript, but they will not be screen reader accessible and lots of using IDs as opposed to classes, which is not good practice. Also, if you study the code you learn carefully, you will find in a lot of modules a lack of providing a class to certain elements such as , also not good practice. I have no doubt the instructor knows about these best practices and applies them when doing paid work, but this is paid work as well since we paid to take the course. Consistency of best practices is part of learning how to code.

I have tried one other full stack web development course so far, and this is not even comparable. Brad takes his time to explain all concepts in depth, so that you understand not only the work of design, but also concepts related to design. I stopped my other course at 50 percent and was very lost at that point, and can tell that with this course I will have a very solid understanding of Web Design and have loved the tools Brad has shared with me so far. He is a true teacher, in all aspects of the word. Thank you for your attention to detail, and I am excited to keep learning in this course.

Great course! I have taken other courses from Brad and I enjoyed the way he teaches. Anybody that is thinking in pursuing web development, I will recommend this course. The instructor speaks very clear on the topic. Do not expect this course will make you a developer over night. Nothing is overnight. It will take time and practice. Brad will help you get you to your goal and direct you to the necessary steps. The videos are clear and he is easy to understand. There are some stuff that he can go deeper such as with the PHP section... but he has a free PHP course for free.
