Beginners Introduction to Web Development (Udemy.com)

So fare I feel like this is a baby introduction only mentioning big names but not explaining how it works. Also, the slides are pretty poor : they have too much written text while the person is talking over and therefore not giving time to either focus on the slide or what is saying.

I'm enjoying the course so far. I like the fact that it is a complete introduction into the world of web development, which talks about the theory behind coding before getting practical. The bit on web hosting and making sure it supports your server side language I found to be particularly useful!

It does what it says. Ideal to someone who is looking to start into the web development world. Very good insights given, well explained lectures.

This short course made things straight for me on where to start web development, and how to improve my skills. Got some nice ideas about domains and contracts for extra money.

Pretty good course on the basic concepts of web development. I would like to have seen even one basic project or some sort of interactivity though.

Plain and simple for introduction about web site creation. A must see first video before diving deeply about web development.

Basically the course covers how to set up your environment to start doing web development, a couple of very basic concepts about how the web works and some useful links. I did expect more focus on the importance of the standards and the different frameworks to help you code, although I understand the course is intended to be only introductory and the excess of information can be counter productive.

The course gives a brief intro into the many tools and websites and setups and what's available into building a website. However, if you're looking for a course into building a website, this is not it. However, this info is good for beginners that are in the dark looking for direction and should be used alongside a course that will teach you about web development and coding. overall I am happy with this brief crash course.

Valuable for person who doesn't know anything of how web development works and wants quick look around of things and information of where to start. But not worth current (200 €) price.

A great resource for web-developer especially for new web-developer, who can easily stuck how to plan and design a great website without this knowledge which can cause a lot of trouble and cost you lot of money in the future. I recommend this course.
