Chances are, at some point in your career, someone suggested to you that you should "own your career".
It probably sounded like a good idea. And you probably also had no idea what that meant in practice, or how to get started.
Help is here!
In about a half hour, you will learn how the most successful professionals regularly reflect on what's working and what isn't when they think about their job, their motivation, their skills, their learning, their development, and their career prospects. You'll walk through the same exercises that career coaches use with their clients so you can start to think about how to take change of your professional - and personal - future.
Anyone can "own their career". You don't need a fancy title or be at a certain level in your career to be thoughtful, proactive, and excited about what's next. Owning your career is a simple, no-cost way to give your future a huge advantage.
In this course, you will learn:
What "Owning Your Career" means
What you want more of and less of in work

Appreciated the pace and delivery style. Topic is perfect for reflection that builds a plan in a logical order. Additional resources offered were very beneficial. Role play worked great. Provided "kudos" for things I did well and actionable feedback to further improve. Also pointed out where I felt short and provided ideas to hit the goal/target next time.

My personal experience taking this coures is to own my career progression which center on the 3Es, experience, exposure and education. They are expressed mathematically as 70,20 and 10% .Once you do do you would get better at what you do.Also there is the need to have open conversation about career progressions about your team members and be interested in giving some clear coaching on what they need to do to grow to the next stage.Members of your team should see an interest in you wanting to get their interest aligned with their career progression.
