What you will learn
- Build Web APIs with .NET Core
- Develop Single-Page Apps with Angular
- Using Entity Framework Core to work with databases
- Create register and login functionality
- Deploy .NET Core and Angular apps
Course Description
With ASP.NET Core we can develop Web APIs using C#.
With Angular we can create modern web applications without too many headaches.
In this course we will use both tools to create a project. We will make an application with a database, user system, back-end and UI, where you will put into practice the concepts learned in the course.
We will go step by step, both in the development of the front-end with Angular, and with the back-end in ASP.NET Core. You can take this course without having too much knowledge of both technologies. In fact, I will teach you the basics of these technologies throughout the course.
At the end we will publish our Angular application and our ASP.NET Core application.
Some of the topics we will cover:
Developing Web APIs with ASP.NET Core
Creating a Database in SQL Server using Entity Framework Core
User system with Json Web Tokens (JWT)
Developing a single page application (SPA) with Angular
Creating reactive forms in Angular
Making HTTP requests from Angular to ASP.NET Core
Using Angular Material components
Using maps with Leaflet
Saving spatial data in a database with NetTopologySuite
Allowing users to upload images to be saved in Azure Storage or locally
Automatic tests in .NET and Angular
Upon completing this course, you will have sufficient knowledge to face challenges involving ASP.NET Core and Angular applications.

lessons are too short to focus on, maybe have some extended lessons so the learner can keep his focus instead of it being scattered across lessons

Yes, it is a very nice course. I learn so many new think in this course like how to use google map on the project by using leaflet. Also the use of marker and other think. Here Testing is new for me before this I never done like such any testing. So, overall all it is a very nice course for the leaner. Thank you very much!

up to the point and not wasting any time, content consumer must be having some basic knowledge of coding with html, css and especially javascript to understand this quick and subtle project development. The couse is much appreciated and good for someone with enough experience in web apps.

Gracias.

It has been a great course. Felipe has explained some very interesting topics throughout the course and very useful for me as for example how the integration between angular and ASP .NET should be done, the advantages of using Identity and EntityFrameworkCore, deploy ASP .Net apis and Angular applications in the cloud and how to implement unit test in Angular. Nevertheless, I would like to mention a point that could be improved, for example it would be great to include a small introduction of how Azure should be configured to use app service (database credentials, user permissions) as it was done at the beginning of the course with the installation and configuration of the local environment to run ASP .NET and Angular and even with the configuration to create and run unit tests, as I particularly had this problem when I wanted to run my API from Azure.

A little fast paced but since there is a lot of repetition we end up getting the gist, there is alot of active practice and not so much theory which is great. Overall great teacher.

Good course as it moves quickly. I kind of like that. I read other message about the course not having depth, so a good question is, what is recommended to fill in the depth? This is mainly on the Angular side. I can see that Felipe is a C# guy first as his explanations there are quite good. Even with a decade of experience I am learning lots of little titbits in C#. But the Angular side feels a bit lacking on the deeper explanations like there is on the C# side.

Great teaching approach. The instructor uses relevant examples to explain each topic clearly and gets straight to the point. There’s no wasted time here. Everything taught is practical and ready to use right away.
