Mike Wheeler's course is a short, beginner-first walkthrough of Claude: 22 lectures across about 3.7 hours. It covers the interface, writing and editing with simple prompts, the Free versus Pro question, a first Project and a Google Docs connection. Newer sections on Claude Cowork, Claude Code and Claude in PowerPoint were added, and the last update was in July 2026. It is aimed at people who have opened Claude and wondered what to do next, not at anyone already using it daily.

Reviewers who like it call it an easy watch, praise the clear tour of where things live in the interface, and value the plain explanation of Free versus Pro limits. One new user says they produced a competitive intelligence memo right after the lessons. Roughly 80 percent of the 2,824 ratings are four or five stars. The complaints are steady, though. Some say the delivery is fast and talky, that the later lessons wander, or that only a small share applied to their work. Two mention older slides and an older Claude version. One buyer expected Claude Code and Cowork material and found nothing in section 4.

Teaching gets mixed marks: clear and easy to follow for some, too quick and light on substance for others. With 11,902 students it is well used, but treat it as an orientation, not a deep dive. It is a fair pick if you want a low-risk, short start with Claude. If you're after serious Claude Code or automation work, look for something built for that.
