This is a short beginner course from Mike Wheeler, about 2.5 hours across 34 lectures. The first three sections cover why prompting matters, learning-focused prompts, and the zero-shot, one-shot, few-shot and chain of thought types. The fourth section, added in a 2026 refresh, takes more than half the runtime and moves into context engineering, Claude Code, Cowork and MCP servers. It was last updated in July 2026. More than 90,000 students have enrolled, and it carries a Bestseller badge.

Most of the 25,552 ratings are 4 or 5 stars. Reviewers praise a clear, steady, well-paced delivery that non-technical people can follow, and several first-timers call it a good start. The complaints cluster tightly. Reviewers say section 4 jumps in difficulty, opens with Canva without saying why, and has awkward edits where a video stops mid-sentence. Others wanted to learn how to write a stronger prompt, not just see an example of each type. One reviewer found the volume too low.

Prima parte utile per chi è alle prime armi. Poi un deep dive su canvas e claude sinceramente fatto dando per scontato che utente sia gia a un livello avanzato. Quindi direi un corso fatto per due livelli differenti e nella seconda parte troppo frettoloso. Speravo meglio.

The content is pretty decent in the first 3 sections. Section 4 starts with Canva, which for me seems a bit unrelated and there is no introduction why we are doing it or showing a concrete goal at the beginning. The editing of the content, especially in the Section 4 is poor. The video stops in the middle of the sentence and it is continued in the next video. At least a whole though process should be finished within one video and jumping to the next one.

The AI assistance encountered some technical issues with the inconsistent tone of voice and drastic difference in the voice levels, sometimes mixing their own roles. May be best to adjust the progress and leave them more area to practise.
