The title and description is misleading. Good for beginners -- you will learn rails basics and you will learn react basics.... BUT you won't learn how to use both of these technologies together. React & Rails is relatively tricky to configure together and thus I was hoping to learn more about the mechanics of using these combined technologies. I was expecting to learn how to build a Rails/Redux app with a Rails backend or something utilizing both. I was not expecting to learn how to build a Rails app and (separately) learn how to build a pure React/Redux app.

Almost every step of the course is so far behind from current versions. You will spend a lot of time running into error after error when trying to start your server every time anything in this course is installed. I had to search for specific older versions of the install for just about everything before I could get anything to work.

i just went through couple of videos and i did not like. If a beginner wants to learn ruby, atleast the instructor should tell how to open irb before starting to writing some code.
