Complete Guide to 3D Coat (Udemy.com)

Overwall for the price i got, discounted, was ok course. The instructor is not the most funny and the not edited videos have some repetitive stuff. Most of the time the information is about what it his doing and not why he is doing that ould be more important. Some lack of knoledg is show, specialy in the material creation part. Watched at 1.5x speed with skipping some content by pressing right arrow key (5sec skip) in some repetitive parts. The model is a fun and interesting character. Overwall for the price is ok

Dont be misguided by the amount of videos and the title , this is a very superfical course !!! . In 90% of the video the instructor do the same things , use the sames brushes and config with all scene oblects , there no explanation about the 3d coat rooms,the basic navigation, UI configurations etc .

Me gusta el curso. Me ha sacado de varios aprietos. Sin embargo, no me gusta que el profesor no editara los videos y tenga uno que ver los diferentes errores que ocupan bastante tiempo en los videos, esa parte me pareció muy mala, no sé si lo hizo intencionalmente para mostrar un tiempo en horas del curso que realmente no son…

Thank you for this excellent course I really enjoy it and learned a lot from it , I hope you make another advanced course like hard surface or realistic character for game or movie . I strongly recommend it if you want to learning 3dcoat just be patient and keep moving with the instructor

The tutor does not teach the software in a good way, has a strong accent and it seams like the video was not edited at all before uploading (why did he not cut out the part where he forgot to turn on symmetry). This is more a time laps video in real speed. The bad thing is, there don‘t seem to be any good 3dcoat tutorials out there.

Fantastic course. I only had some really basic knowledge of 3DCoat which helped the first few chapters but I almost had no experience in sculpting. I am surprised that my current sculpt doesnt look like complete trash.

It's difficult to see where he is clicking sometimes, he moves too fast. A cursor indicator or just going a little slower might help. New users aren't familiar with things yet so not seeing where something is clicked causes you to have to rewind five or six times and try to catch it. Otherwise, good course so far.

Very confused when you first chose a primitive to use during the explanations of tools. I didn't have any idea what you were clicking on because you went so quick. Maybe you didn't expect people to follow along, but I wasn't sure at first.

Ja, bis jetzt schon, leider wird nicht erklärt welche Software er zur Bildvorlage verwendet, damit eine Bildvorlage dauerhaft im Vordergrund angezeigt wird.

3d coat needs more professionally done courses, especially for character work thank you for taking a good overview of the common features used for character work!
