Kaupenjoe (Nico)
I am Nico - also known as Kaupenjoe - I have a Master's Degree in Computer Science and teach Game Development through many different courses. Mid-2020, when I became a bit disillusioned with my job, I set my sights to something different. Multiple people have previously told me I was good at teaching things.
With some of my prior YouTube Video making knowledge I was able to make my first courses. The Minecraft Courses in particular made a huge impact on students and myself and allowed me to teach full-time with courses and other supplementary methods.
I hope you will also join me and allow me to help you learn Programming, Modding or Game Development. As a hobby, side-hustle or as a promising career, it is an amazing and fulfilling field and I’m so happy to have you join me on this journey.

Pretty good, but does not provide as much content as some other courses. It was good jumpstart for a guy like me who has some C# and Unity knowledge, but zero knowledge about lua and Roblox. Made me understand basics fast in couple days. Section 5 explanation goes so fast, that is hard to keep up. Had to replay many times and some of the things could have been explained in more detail.

This course can be confusing for me at times but I love the way he explains everything, this course really helped me understand a lot about coding as a beginner in the coding field he made code look so easy and I hope to someday be as good at coding as him! Overall good course definitely would recommend to friends and family.

I am currently halfway through the course. So far, it has been absolutely amazing! I have played video games for the last few years and have wanted to learn to code on Roblox but I would always lose track of my near term objectives. This course has helped me keep my motivation long enough to get some real knowledge into my brain. I am finally learning to code and hopefully will make a Roblox game after some more self-learning upon the end of the course. I definitely recommend this course! After completing the course- I felt some expanations for advanced topics were more than they needed to be. I found youtube totourials by the Dev King to be more helpful. Although the order of the ideas that he lectured on was helpful. Thus I am downgrading review from 5 stars to 4 stars.

For a cheaper course this is great. The course is only 8 hours, but teaches enough LUA to be able to begin scripting a Roblox game. He does well with explaining why he puts lines of code in. It can clearly be updated, but for the most part it all works or is in the Q&A. Course also gives access to more of his courses at a discount.

Absolutely great. Cheery teaching style and content that gradually and smoothly leads from basics to more complex activities. Perfect for someone who wants to get started with Roblox game creation. Kaupenjoe / Nico should consider writing a book for beginners/intermediates as well - there is a severe lack of good beginner level books on Roblox Game Studio - the ones that are available currently cover simple topics like the Roblox IDE in extruciating detail, and suddenly jump 10 notches of complexity when they attempt actual game creation, without explaining the in-betweens.. so, yeah!!

Hi Kaupenjoe, First of all good lecture, but some lecture in the intermediate weren't working for example the Teleport to another place was not working no matter what I did I even went on Roblox Pages and look at the codes and they still wouldn't work I don't know if it's me or if it's the code itself being old that they might of changed it but it was frustrating trying to get it to work without success, but overall you did a great job on explaining everything else so i give it a 4.5/5 star

Great course for people like me. Never been a coder, I am older, love technology and love to learn new things and tinker. I have done some Java and am learning JS as well. This has been an amazing course and the Instructor actually responds to your questions. Would Highly recommend this course.

intermediate falls apart a bit because of how much goes unexplained (although that might be fixed by time) , but I can't deny the fact that I went from someone who could do nothing to someone who could actually do things reasonably enough on my own, and I don't think there's any better metric to judge a course by than that.

Brilliant Course. Very useful information that covers a diverse array of essential features needed to create a properly functioning game that not only works well, but that the player will enjoy. The lessons are very concise and don't drag. Concepts are well explained. I felt that some of the content was quite advanced, but it motivated me to find out more and demonstrated more exciting possibilities with Roblox. I found that there was a lot of information condensed into a short space of time and I had to keep replaying parts to take it all in properly. The resources are excellent and I was able to make my own notes in the scripts of the rbxl files provided. I look forward to additional lectures becoming available. Highly recommended!
