Really enjoyed this course. I already had some Blender knowledge, but often struggled with finding the right techniques for the shapes I wanted to create. I learned a lot of new approaches here. What I liked most was that the finished model is shown before the instructor starts building it. This gave me the chance to try most exercises on my own first, which helped me a lot. The lessons are concise, informative and don't waste time with unnecessary talking. I also really liked the fantasy/RPG themed models and the overall length of the course. The beginning of the SubD section was a little dry for me, but once the techniques clicked, it became much more enjoyable and was of the same good quality as the rest of the course. Definitely one of the better Blender courses I've taken.

Highly recommended course! It took less than 1 week to finish it (4-5h/day) . I would recommend for those those who are beginners in modelling (such as programmer) to soak your feet and get new skill into creating your own models and eventually import them into game engine. Thanks Grand Abbit, I liked your approach in this course, by giving a big amount of exercises with gradually increasing difficulty! It helped to stay consistent and ability not to give up when new challenge will come! Please keep you future courses in similar approach!

It's much easier to follow than other courses I've tried. I'm a game programmer, and before starting this course I had about 15 hours in blender. In the last couple weeks, thanks to these challenges, I've been getting more skilled and confident at low poly modeling, while also picking up new techniques every day

Really good course. Teaches you tools and muscle memory. The courses helped me remember a lot. Grant is one of the best to teach low and high poly modeling.

It’s a well-structured course, perfect for those who are past the beginner stage. For me, it was incredibly useful. Before this, I had watched many tutorials but couldn't create anything on my own. To be honest, I still struggle with 3D modeling sometimes, but now I know the step-by-step process for any model, even if it takes a while. Most importantly, it gave me a solid foundation and the understanding of how to create models from scratch. A huge thank you! However, I found the section on Subdivision Surface a bit rushed and confusing. While the lectures leading up to the final project (the laser gun) were informative, they weren't quite deep enough for a smooth transition. I found myself figuring out certain terms and facts only through trial and error during the final project. I felt I lacked some of the basics — like the excellent explanations you gave for n-gons and topology — right before starting the final task. Overall, a huge thank you again!

grant is a great teacher and his style of giving challenges that start small but get bigger and more challenging is excellent, I feel I've learnt a lot and got a lot of good muscle memory and theory!

Exactly the course I needed right now. Love that he touches on all the pitfalls you can fall into along the way and how to avoid them, especially the subdivision surface modelling bits.

Grant is an excellent teacher. I have followed several of his courses and several of his videos on Youtube. He always explains things in manner that is understandable and always has loads of useful information.

The class had an expert-level teacher who moved at an even, easily understandable pace. I learned a lot in this course, and I look forward to more classes, Grant and team. Awesome work.

Simple but detailed and straightforward. I love how it gives you enough information to make you understand a potential problem without overwhelming. The lesson's ramp up as it goes with in a smooth and teachable way.
