Comprehensive Microsoft Excel (Udemy.com)

It was very clear and well described. I actually have been taught by Jordan Hudgens before in his DevCamp course thru Bottega University, and I really like him as a teacher which is why; in part, I also purchased this mini course as well. My favorite thing about the way he teaches is his work around potential caveats and common things you may run into and how to solve those issues. He doesn't just teach you the basics and what has to be taught, his way of teaching is definitely made for prepping you for the real world. 5 stars again, Jordan - fantastic class!

It was ok, main piece of feedback being that it would be good to provide the resources that were being used in each tutorial. I resorted to using Excel sheets I had but sometimes the lessons couldn't be applied to my Excel sheets due to the differences in the data.

Seeing the steps in action is great for visual learners. For kinesthetic learners, resource downloads and instructions on performing are better for practice and repetition for learning that remains after the visual is gone.

I was happy that the professor started from scratch, and didn't assume too much about the knowledge of his student. I mainly needed to learn about tables for my career path, and that was very helpful. It would have been helpful to be able to have access to the dummy excel files that were being worked on. All in all, I learned a lot

This course could be better learned and put to use by having a course manual. No one should be expected to remember every lesson presented in the videos. Volume quality needs to be examined. I personally had to hold my laptop on my shoulder to hear the lessons, then turn it to view the instructor's actions, then pause the video, sit the laptop down, grab my notebook to wrote the action down for later reference. The instructor is very knowledgeable in the field and offered valuable insight on Excel functions and tools that are very useful in my job and I will be putting the newly learned skills to work immediately.

Great Learning courses broken down into digestible sessions. Would be great to add interactive - try for yourself elements to gain a work based understanding. I did also have to rewind in some places as the speaker was going a little to fast as was using shortcut actions and not explaining in some parts. But overall i have more knowledge than i did before and the speaker was very positive in his sharing style

Good pace. As a video of the instructor's computer screen, it is sometimes difficult to track the actual keystrokes/selections that are being made, but the instructor does consistently (but not always) mention what he is doing. As with anything, best if you actually practice these actions with an actual Excel spreadsheet as a training workbook.

It was a very good course on excel and how to use it. Thr only problem was there wasn't any pazzaz. Nothing to make it exciting. It covered all the topics but left me yawning many times. Recommend you take it in short chunks and then practice what is taught.

The lesson were fun and easy to understand. Reaching the data table ribbon or the select data ribbon seems difficult to do especially on OneDrive Excel. I think clicking ribbons or getting the right ribbons to appear needs more emphasis for novices so they can click the right menu item? And also it was not certain if Excel OneDrive comes equipped with the pivot table option? However, overall this course contained much needed Excel information and great techniques for working with spreadsheets expertly!

Like many others out there, I've used excel for many years, but have never really scratched the surface of what it's capable of doing. this series has shown me many areas I was unfamiliar with and things I plan on using in the future. I also found this tutorial beneficial enough to use as a valuable resource in the future.

Straight forward easy to understand tutorials. It’s great to have an app that I can refer back to.

Then as the training progressed I found it very informative.
