Introduction to TypeScript Development (Udemy.com)

It is a good course, very clearly explained. Sometimes maybe too explained for too easy things meanwhile other more complicated concepts are not so detailed. Maybe I would make it even shorter and with more real life examples.

The content is very good. only flaw I saw when you demonstrate particular program, you should show how to install dependency without saying that I installed already that like,, what are the error you may face, how to overcome that error those details are missing.

The devcamp-builder is using older version of node-saas, which is using older version of node-gyp that is looking for python2. I had difficulty there, otherwise the introduction to typescript was on-point and discussed all major topics in detail. I enjoyed it overall.

I have to give 5 stars because too many companies punish anyone who doesn't get a perfect rating. --- It's hard to have an Introduction course that can 100% satisfy ANYONE, unless maybe if it's a microcourse. I have a lot of programming experience and some experience with Typescript, so a lot of the stuff was too simple. But someone without much experience probably feels overwhelmed. This was valuable because it did show me some random gaps in my knowledge, some "I didn't know you could do that!" things. --- I have only a few tactical suggestions: arithmetic might be sped up by showing a prepared file. (I first thought that any of the typing was too slow, but then I realized that, if nothing else, it gives us time to look at the screen and make sure we understand what's there.) Since arrow functions are short and don't have the "this" problem, it might be better to have them replace the anonymous functions everywhere. Objects might be explained at the start of its section. There wasn't much explanation of object member syntax (I didn't know that "foo(args) { code }" could work), although that's more JavaScript really, but you taught addition which is certainly JavaScript). If there was an explanation of how public / private / protected in a construction made members, I missed it. LET ME RE-EMPHASIZE that these are relatively minor polishing / fit-and-finish suggestions, not anything structural.

Jordan is doing a great job tying everything together so far. Granted, I had some working experience with Java, which helps, but still, it's not easy to put all these separate concepts together into a coherent course. We need to give credit where credit is due. Keep up the good work, Jordan!

Good course, learned a lot. Sadly I cannot provide 5 stars, as I needed to do some additional research from time to time about things that are not explicitly explained in the course, but essential to reach a full understanding. E.g. the example in the section about Promises is unnecessary difficult. Took me a while to understand what's happening here. Beyond that, good course!

Yes I want to learn TypeScript as a part of learning Angular. I don't need the Mac instruction, but don't mind it either.

Many things related to infrastructure are outdated and cost quite some time to figure out how they work now. (like installing packages etc...)
Otherwise it is a good start for someone who hasn't seen TypeScript yet. Although programming skills in some language are necessary because the course is not covering general concepts. Watching/coding along the course has enabled me to start at all with TypeScript, but actually being able to write code on my own takes many more hours of practice additionally.

Good to learn a new scripting language

Things were well explained, but I would have liked to have dived a bit deeper to truly understand how TypeScript works.

It's very systematically. easy to understand.

very helpful and these concepts are more useful to me to develop angular applications.
