I think it provides a great framework for resolving conflict. My feedback is centered on the lack of information that relates to racial and gender bias which continues to play a significant role in the topic of conflict management but are seldom addressed to speak to some of the significant root causes of conflict in the workplace.

This is a good course for beginners. Few take aways I found but nothing new that I could implement or change. That is why I gave 4 and not 3 stars. I am using same strategy but it is not always successful. I expected a guidance on how to solve difficult conflicts, how to deal with difficult situations, where opponents are not motivated to solve the conflict. Maybe that is already combination of negotiation and selling skills. I liked the course notes and presentation style. 6 stars.

I really like that the training is broken up into shorter sessions. Just the right amount of time was given to understand the topic and how to apply the information. Jamal is an excellent speaker who secured my trust in his knowledge of the topic and his passion for the topic kept my attention.

Hello Jamal, thank you for this awesome training. As conflicts are a part of our private and business life it's great to know how to deal with it. I'm especially thankful for the 6 stages how to resolve a conflict and the part about emotional intelligence. This is my biggest challenge: to work on my emotions when I'm in a conflict situation ;-) And one more thing: I wouldn't expect that conflicts may have something beneficial but you have opened my eyes in this matter :)

I thought this course was very well structured and delivered, however there were some inconsistencies about how pronouns were used for generic people (sometimes they, sometimes specifically he or she), and I thought the last few sections were useful advice but much more difficult to carry through for neurodivergent people like myself.

I really enjoyed listening to you through out this course. You really highlighted a lot of my issues and while going through your lectures i really understood how to handle my feelings and how to control the conflict in a more diplomatic way and have a win-win situation for both parts . This course has really been clear to the point, Jamal. I will try to put these into practice in my workplace and life too. I liked the point that we shouldn't sit on conflicts till it blows, better to address it when we recognize conflict, take feedback early on, listen to how others see the situation. On a candid note, I feel much for the relationship between John & Bob and I'm happy they worked it out between themselves. I would like to hear how as a leader to manage conflicts between team members, or how to ease tensions when my team works with other department teams.
