1. Basic information about data mining provided, yet in a structured manner; partly outdated material, as you can expect from ”Last updated 3/2015” mention; includes information about data from 1995!!! (now we are in 2024); 2. Almost only text provided, visualization of concepts presented are exceptions; 3. I suspect that the very monotone voice reading the text is not coming from a person, but from a text-to-speech tool; 4. I have been invited to PURCHASE a test/ certification in the last chapter; I guess this information should have been provided from the beginning? otherwise there is no quiz or test available during/ at the end of the course; 5. There is no other resource provided, but a Data Mining Glossary of Terms; Conclusion: data mining is very important, huge opportunity to develop a Udemy course to find out why it is important (in 2024)!

Eu esperava não só argumentos e mais argumentos e outra e outra vez sobre as vantagens do Data Mining, mas exemplos de aplicação das técnicas. Por exemplo, eu já tinha lido e tinha muita expectativa sobre o que são Neural Networks, não progredi nada, fiquei na mesma. Devia haver exemplo da técnica ou processo em cima de um conjunto de dados.
