This is a very good DevOps course, crammed with a lot of useful information. The lectures are very thorough and the author went oftentimes above and beyond what was required for a good understanding of the material. My only regret is that I took it three years after its inception so there are a few things that no longer work (deprecated libraries/packages, newer repos, different OS versions, AWS console restructured etc.).

The course provides a solid portfolio of projects that can bolster your confidence in tackling real world issues that can appear at any DevOps job. If you follow the whole course you will get through most of the issues that people encounter when working on their day to day tasks. So if you learn how to troubleshoot and implement these flows that are presented here then you will gain the skills necessary to succeed in the current market. Kudos for a great job Imran. Excellent course !,learned a lot about DevOps concepts and methodologies. Haven't blindly followed all the steps i order to cut costs: Used Let's encrypt SSL cert instead of paid one,ran jenkins and gitlab runners locally,used github instead of BitBucket,Gemini AI,code was different,but fulfilled project requirements.Small remarks:add monitoring section (Prometeus/Graphana),update Ansible code to match newest changes and Jenkins docker stages to comply with new standards.

Explanation feels excellent if you are repeatedly watching but the response to the queries get delayed many times and sometimes it breaks the flow otherwise Mr Imran is doing great work.

The problem is that he doesn't show step by step how the code is written. He just copy the code from somewhere else, and I have to pause the video to write my code. He sometimes explains what the copied, but when you personally write a code, is normal to explain every line. I don't understand this idea of copying code from somewhere else. You already have videos of 23 minutes, and I have to pause the video every time to copy the code. One of your 23 minutes sessions turns into 50 mins for me

I highly recommend this course. Instrultor explains everything in details and if anything goes wrong or needs some update, you always get answers accordingly with possible solutions. So you are not alone. Besides its amazing, that the course comprehends different scenarios and variety of Devops technologies including manual Implementation of ci/cd on Aws, Iac, docker, Kubernetes and more.

I had spent almost a year and a half to complete this course. Loads of hands-on tasks, tons of expectations, and plenty of trial and error. Now, I'm gearing up for my first DevOps gig and I'm stoked that I got to do this practical course. The explanations were super engaging and there was so much practice involved (sometimes I just copied everything that was shown - a 10-minute video could easily turn into 2 hours of practice).I'm hoping all this stuff I've learned will come in handy down the line.

So far this is the best course I have taken from Udemy. Imran hits the nail right on the mark as it gives hands-on experience in real-time projects. The most crucial thing that Imran does where most of the instructor fails is resolving your queries through Q&A on time so that you are not stuck there forever. Thanks, for this well-crafted course, and most importantly thank you for fixing the questions throughout it.

Expecting some more real-world project-oriented, updated courses. Few things to say- The Jdk, NodeJS, Database, Memcached, parameter groups etc used in these videos are old and many are no longer supported. While doing these labs, I have encountered different errors due to the older versions. When I updated them, maximum problems were resolved. Here CentOS EC2 has been used which incurs extra charges from AWS Marketplace. I have used RHEL EC2 instead and got the same result without extra charges. So please use RHEL EC2 in place of CentOS. In the Jenkins, the private IP addresses of other services (Nexus, Sonarqube, database, Memcached, RabbitMQ etc) have been configured, hence while recreating the infrastructure and fetching the backups from S3, you have to edit all the stage configurations and configure new private IP addresses of other servers, which is time-consuming. While doing the labs, I have used Route-53 private hosted zone, created private A-records against the private IP addresses of servers, and configured those records in the Jenkins stage configurations. Hence while recreating the infrastructure from backup and using CloudFormation, I only have updated the Route-53 records. It saved my time a lot.

Awesome course, instructor is extremely knowledgeable and detailed in his teaching. Purchasing this course was the best personal and professional investment for my career path. Thank you Mr. Teli!
