Django 3 - Full Stack Websites with Python Web Development (Udemy.com)

Great into to web development. The teacher did a good job explaining the why behind the code too without getting too in the weeds. I appreciate the resources and time stops to let the viewer try it on their own, and then going over it anyway. This is a great class for the nuts and bolts of Python and Django. As a follow-up you should also take a HTML5+CSS+Bootstrap class too.

A big thank you!!!! I am an entrepreneur and a startup owner. After very detailed research, I choose your course as I have already purchased more than 40 other courses for young students who don't have their credit/debit cards. I am working on a lifelong project for which I have dedicated myself entirely. Previously, I hired a developer who wasted my one and half year. Since then, I decided to learn coding myself after an 11-year break.

I came in with limited coding experience, I took an intro python class at a community college, and found this to be a great guide for someone looking for the basics, plus a little more. The instructor Nick is awesome, easy to follow and gives the information of how, and why things are working. I also enjoyed the challenges that cemented the learning objectives. This was a fantastic class and I if has gotten me excited to see what I can do with django.

Having tried many other free and paid Django courses, Nicks course was so much more hands on, informative and easy to follow. The course is very fun, I was excited to start every next lecture. This course is important to take if you are looking to learn Django quickly. I have now enrolled in Nicks advance Django course and I’m really enjoying it. The support is fantastic too! This is really a great course to learn the basic foundations of how Django works by working on three projects that start simple and increase their difficulty with the last project. Plenty of occasions to do-it-yourself to get a better grasp of the matter. Start from this course, and you will have the necessary tools to understand more complex Django courses or even start doing your own projects. The teacher is really thorough and exhaustive. Excellent job!

I have just completed the full course, and I already find it fantastic. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Django. This is my first Django course and I liked it. I am a Wordpress developer, so for me to follow him (Nick) was easy because I understand what he was talking. But if you have NO previous website development knowledge, then learn some HTML, CSS, Basic Python and Bootstrap before you start this course, else you will scratch your head when Nick will show you the completed website. In fact, he never completed any website and in the end, asked to download the completed website from the GitHub. If you know how to use bootstrap then it's a piece of cake to understand what he did. Overall this is a good course and now I am feeling confident to start working on some completed functionalities.

well, i dont want to sound rude, but! first of all, it has nothing to do with front-end, i mean you did not go through HTML and CSS in real, just "copy-past" from bootstrap is not serious, there are a lot of details which you have to understand then to manipulate front side, so that's not a full stack stuff. second thing, DataBase! it's very important to understand how it works and unfortunately he did not go deeply with that. there would appear a lot of errors if you will change things, for example it appears during "blog" part if you delete some topics and you use static file there (blog! not portfolio), because of changing id when something is added after delete, and also there are issue in todo when you register user, password could be written in mail section even you copy all his code, and etc. he really needs to add some more lectures for db, also show how to work with other db. third problem is with recorded video from one try... when you find your mistakes it's cool and we see what could happen, but you really have explain errors more accurate. sorry, i had feeling that you are not very experienced with Django, cause there were not good and crucial explanations for tons of topic, just - it works like that and do so... what he explains, he explains very well. easy language and nice way of explanation. you can really catch nice information from this course, but eventually you will leave more time for reading django documentation, rather listening for courses, of course if you want to understand whole process and not just copy and remember every step. i like his enthusiasm and hope he will make a way better courses

Nick is an engaging tutor and I enjoyed the course, it covered most of the basics well. However, given the full price of the course (I paid a much smaller amount) and its description, I was expecting to learn a bit more about the other aspects of web development (HTML5, CSS etc) and these were not covered in much detail at all. Having done the free django project tutorial before I took this course, I was surprised that the basics of automated testing and generic views also weren't covered.

Great course. My only reason for not giving it 5 star is for bootstrap and CSS portion of the portfolio website he said here is my code go figure it out. I understand styling is personal choice and I can look up different tutorials, but here is the code go figure it out is not the right approach. There should at least be an optional section for the styling portion. It has been really frustrating trying to figure out styling for the website without much knowledge of CSS or bootstrap.
