Python for Programmers (Udemy.com)

Pretty nice course, but the title is a bit misleading, because it covers mostly the basic stuff, which are not too interesting for programmers. I wish to hear more about OOP implementation in Python (classes are explained too fast), lambdas, async functions, multithreading, code standards, package managers, documentation generators etc.

The course is well made and well presented for what it does. The exercises are good! The Twitter example may be a bit outdated now that Twitter is, and is not something a student would want to run in real life to not spam people.. Personally I was looking for a course targeted at a senior developer who is simply new to Python, and does not need to learn what a loop is. This is hard to find in udemy.

The beginning of this course is very slow, but otherwise, it's a pretty good course. The exercises grow in complexity as the course goes on and the instructor appears to have designed these exercises to stretch you just beyond what you just learned. I feel like I have a solid grasp on Python now, basically, enough to feel confident that I can get by with just reference documentation and googling. I would recommend.

As a relative beginner with Python and computer programming in general (have completed one other python course previously and have a few courses in VBA also) I think this was a great course. The projects within the course are very well thought out in terms of increasing complexity levels and push you towards learning how research some things yourself and figure out how to do things on your own which is a good skill to have going forward after finishing the course. Nick is a very good instructor that has an upbeat attitude that keeps you interested.

This course was perfect for someone with some coding experience who wanted to learn python basics at a fast pace. The exercises were relevant and useful and the projects were challenging enough to require thought and time, but not overwhelming. Nick's positivity was infectious and I really enjoyed learning from him. Great course Nick!!

I liked the course overall. The first project was too simple, but the second and third ones were fun to complete. I felt like it was geared more for beginners than experienced programmers so the title was a bit misleading. I think the bonus section was probably my favorite part and I would have liked even more content in that vein.

Not a good match for me. I am a programmer and it's too slow.

Very basic stuff. Nice introductory course if you have never been in touch with Python or you want to refresh your core concepts.
At least, the teacher tries to make it dynamic and it's not the typical boring course!

Great for beginners who even has no programming skills.
Despite on correctness of exercise #35, I should to say that text file motto.txt probably contain typo: "prblem" -> "problem"

I have lot many doubts while doing exercise output but there is no proper guidence for doing that.
