Complete Blazor (WASM & Server) and ASP.NET API Development (Udemy.com)

The goals sometimes are not clear and jumping from one topic to another can be confusing sometimes

Overall I found the course very informative and Trevoir does a great job explaining things and keeping things engaging. The API sections were helpful in filling in some weak areas I have on this topic. The Blazor sections provided a good foundation for learning Blazor. I decided to use .NET 8 since that is the last version with Swagger and I did run into some challenges with Blazor. The biggest one was that when creating the Webserver and WebAssembly projects for some reason .NET 8 was not available for the version even though the SDK is installed. I had to play around with the project files by first selecting .NET 7 and then getting them to work with 8. So perhaps some updated sections for .NET or even 9 may be helpful. Otherwise, as I said earlier, this was a very good course, thank you!

- Little outdated with .net 8. - Some things were unclear and I was unable to follow along with deploying app to azure (migrating database was impossible for me to figure out) - Replied to every question, but some he replied he would get back with them, but never did. Some of these questions I had the same issues on but didn't find a resolution so I had to on my own. - Gave a great overview of Web API's. - Overall a good course that gave me a good foundation for blazor.

The first three quarters of the course was excellent. I learned a lot about api development and Blazor server. This alone was well worth the price of the course. However, the last quarter of the course felt very rushed. Mr. Williams moved very quickly through the code, making multiple changes along the way. It was very difficult to follow and I don't feel like I got anything from those sections. I still recommend this course based on the strength of the first sections.

This is a very good course to learn how to build an end to end app in .NET, both in backend (.Net Core Web API) and frontend (Blazor). Trevoir is an excellent instructor that teaches with professionalism and with deep and wide knowledge on the subject. He brings you the latest and best practices on the field. His teaching style is very good and easy to follow and understand. I learned a lot from this course. Thanks

Bisher ist der Kurs sehr gut. Wenn man den Untertitel auschaltet ist er noch besser. Der Kurs ist gut aufgebaut, ich finde es sehr positiv, dass Herr Williams Fehler nicht herausschneidet. Dadurch lernet man wie man welchen Fehler ggf. beheben kann. Es wird sehr gut erklärt welcher Befehl was bewirkt. Wenn NuGets installiert werden oder man Code von einer Datei in die nächste kopieren soll, dann wäre es schön wenn die Bezeichnungen usw. in einer Folie oder so eingeblendet würden. Der Kurs ist definitiv zu empfehlen! Herr Williams beantwortet Fragen innerhalb weniger Stunden, kompetent und freundlich. Vielen Dank Trevoir!

I enjoyed this course, it was exactly what I was looking for, having an intermediate to advance knowledge in c#, to be introduced to ASP.NET and Blazor. The pace is good, being slow at the beginning and going faster once we are familiarized with the structure. I do like when the instructor fails in building, etc... is the best way to learn. When things fail and needs to debug, other courses run super smooth but then you have no idea how to debug when things go soar. The instructor answers any doubt you may have pretty soon, that is also good. Two suggestions: a) Add some exercises so we can practice on our own, like a parallel project giving instructions on what we have to build, and provide the final code a the end of each section, or something like that. b) In the upgrade to .NET 5, it would be useful to know new features that the new version provides for Blazor (like pre-renders for example), not only on how to upgrade. Anyway, good work, well done!

Love how Trevoir teach me. He have a calm sound and lovely manner. He teach naturally and explain everything clearly. And he show to us that he make mistake like others, so it doesn't make us looks stupid for making mistake all the time. I buy 4 different ASP.Net and Core from different lecturer, and by far, Trevoir beats everyone for his simple procedure and approach. I definitely gonna follow all his courses for now on. My Suggestion maybe make advance class for advance topic for web assembly, so we can upgrade from CRUD to more demanding request and logic and other useful feature like how to make pdf invoice from scratch, download to excel, how to update your publish app so user does not need to clear cache, how to do refresh token, how to edit and update offline mode and user got notification that it wait online to update the data, how to do push notification and every bit of feature that needed for advance web assembly.

Instructor seems to be very knowledgeable about these IT disciplines. The first have of the course was great. However, it quickly departed from that solid step by step informative teaching style to inconsistent rushed approach.

I joined to get specific API knowledge relating to server apps as I've worked with WASM already but my upcoming project is a server app. I have to say I gave up in the closing phase of this course so many times but just kept coming back and chipping away at the various problems that kept popping up at me! I'm pleased I stuck at and thank you for the guidance you provided the couple of times I hit a wall! I really excited to begin Complete .Net Core 3.1 and Entity Framework Development next!

So far so good, the course has some useful information. However, there've been two times where instructor gave plain wrong facts instead of admitting he doesn't know why that specific thing happens. I hope the rest of the course won't include any more of that.
