- At the end of the course students will be able to understand more TypeScript and Framework JS which uses ES6
Course Description
Javascript has been the mother of the web for a long time and the new features in ES6 gives it super powers.
Javascript is no longer considered a script or some addition to other languages, but a full pledge programming language that is easy to code and powerful.
I have to admit that it can be a little strange at first but once you get the hang of it, you won't look back.
Hi my name is Edwin Diaz and on this course I will introduce you to some new features in Javascript that will help you code applications, easily, quickly and at the same time better than anything else.
My philosophy is simple, get the fundamentals of the technology you need and get coding. Why this approach? Technology moves too fast, and if we spent too much time in one technology, others will pass us by.
So here is my advice.....
- Get what you need with the fundamentals
- Start coding your apps
- Reference the DOCS when you need to
- Study other technologies
So what are you waiting for, this course it's short but very informative. Jump in and I see you inside.

I liked Edwins style, because it felt like a good workmate teaching you. There are some stumbles on the way with some coding mistakes - like in real life when someone shows you how things work - and this allows for you as a student to catch them. You apply the knowledge as you move along in the course. It is a great refresher, and I know I will be back for specific areas whenever I am uncertain how to do certain operations. And someone get Edwin a cup of coffee. :)

This was a good (4 star out of 5) course but not something exceptional/amazing that would warrant a 5 star review for which the author asks at the end. I suggest to the author to try to be more careful when writing code. Out of the 2.5 hours of course at least half an hour were spent fixing typos.

Edwin is the One of my favourite instructor on UDEMY and he helped me very much in WEB DEVELPOMENT field Edwin Sir I know that you dont know me. but you know what I read somewhere that Teachers are not the king but they produces the Kings. You changed me and my career towards web development you made me a KING and help me to get a very much interest of my faculties and my friends in my college... Thanks for Instructing and motivating me through your awesome courses .. Hope to see you in personal in my life.

5 stars because this one is for free and the instructor shows commitment to learning how to teach. Imo the teaching abilities can be improved. I think your students need more reasons 'why' you code things a certain way. I missed the 'why' part. I'm not an instructor myself, so that's easy for me to say. But since you want to teach I'd invest a bit more in teaching skills. Hope that helps. Thanks for your effort, well done!! And don't let anyone discourage you!

Course is too basic. I have seen another courses and this course is not clear. You didn't talk about very important functionality of spread operators ==> it is very often used to copy arrays instead of using .map function. You talk about arrow functions but in next lecture use old syntax from ES5 :-( No explanation how it works under the hood. For example full syntax of arrow function is (data) => { return (data); } author use only very shortened version () => data; and nothing more, that's absolutely unclear :-(

"Hello My Dear Students!" This sounds like such a little thing but starting the lecture with this (or a variation of such) each time made me feel focused and ready to learn. It was very endearing and gives the student a sense of rapport with the instructor. Overall Edwin's course is very thorough and his rationale for explaining difficult concepts is very good. Keep up the good work and enthusiasm Edwin, and I will be coming back for more courses in the future!!

Thank you for another awesome course, Edwin Diaz! I attended many courses with really good teachers but Edwin's manner of teaching makes clear even the most complicated things. Course provides valuable information in easy way, besides that teacher genuinely cares about how people adsorb information. These things do make him unique instructor. Also thanks for motivation, It really encourages. I would definitely recommend to take other Edwin's courses. It's very small investment compared to what you can learn. By the way, thanks a lot for Laravel Homestead. I thought I would cry before I've installed it on Windows machine. I spent weeks digging the web and watching different tutorials, but only yours solution works for me) Thank you so much and keep it up.You're doing amazing things that really helps people!

Good examles, simply run thrugh all basic new features. Does not have enough theory about how does that features work, what is algorithm of them, how they work like the operand '...' what does this do I understood but not quetly+ it would be better if this course had more practical examples. But it's free and very good for a free course

The course did well in demonstrating new features of ES6. The instructor gave multiple examples of how to use each feature. The instructor doesn't always have a planned agenda in illustrating examples which would help the course flow a bit better. Overall a good course on ES6 features which also includes some examples of promises and promise chaining.
