Course Description

This course is designed to be the intermediate level of Excel 2016. Students will learn how to link workbooks and worksheets, create named ranges and utilize them in formulas, build Logical functions such as IF, AND, and OR, and use Lookup functions to locate and compare data. Students will also be introduced to and work with Excel's Table feature, learning to create and modify Tables. Students will also create and modify PivotTables and PivotCharts to analyze large data sets, sort the data, and use Slicers and Timeline Slicers to filter the data. Additionally, students will create and modify Charts, work with Flash Fill, work with subtotals and outlining, and learn how to customize the Excel environment.

This IAAP-certified counts for 4.0 recertification points for the CAP certification under the Technology and Information Distribution content area.

The presenter is excellent! I just think this part of the training (personalising the ribbon) is not really relevant to this training. I think this should be in a separate course or at the end, when we already know the formulas and how to apply them to our necessities.

I consider myself intermediate/advanced in excel. I was not expecting to learn as much as I have so far. Some quick refreshers and helpful hints go a long way in excel. I would highly recommend this course for anyone who is a beginner, would benefit from a refresher, or wants to learn more about excel. The videos are laid out in a way that you can select the topics you want to focus on easily. The instructor is very well spoken and communicates very clearly. One thing that stands out especially is that there is a data set provided with these classes â€“ so you can use the reference excel spreadsheets and follow along with the videos. Not every training class for excel provides this, far too few in my opinion. For the price, quality and quantity of this course itâ€™s a 5 star.
