Robert Marzullo

I currently teach Figure Drawing, Anatomy, How to Draw Comics, and Digital Painting. My primary art programs are Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Sketchbook Pro, and Photoshop.  I also teach traditional art methods as well.

These courses will no longer be updated. If you want my full courses you can get them on my website at Ram Studios Comics .com

I am also very active on my Youtube channel so reach out if you need help with your art!

My goal is to help aspiring artists realize their potential and break their mental barriers that hold them back from creating the artwork of their dreams. We can all do it with the right instruction and work ethic. That is what I am here to teach my students.

I have been a working professional artist for most of my life.  I have been published in comics, created 3D animation and characters for television, illustrated storyboards for commercials, and owned and operated my own sign and design firm successfully for over 15 years.

I am also the author of the book "Learn to Draw Action Heroes" by Penguin Random House Publishing.

I now share my knowledge in digital art and computer software through online platforms such as Udemy and have a growing Youtube channel as well. With over 270,000 Youtube subscribers and quickly growing I felt I should create some more in depth content for students wanting to take their skills to the next level.

This has been such an amazing course so far. As someone who has been drawing for all my life but never having properly learned the basic fundamentals of figure and gesture, I have tried many ways to learn how to get better at actually improving my art through constructing the human body in action, and Mr. Marzullo's course has finally helped me begin to achieve that goal. I am so thankful for this amazing study, and would highly reccomend to anyone wanting to learn the true fundamentals of the human figure and gesture drawing seriously, with an easy to follow but very effective approach to learning and practice.

The course was excellent. I have never been able to draw figures and now I can, albeit very slowly, as I need lots of practice. If I have a criticism, it would be the lack of feedback in the Q&A section. Never got a response to any queries or questions I raised, or further pointers which was a little disappointing and almost made me knock it down a star.

Great course, really helped, although it feels like he's missing a few lessons. At various points, he talks about how he's going to cover hands and feet in depth, as well as arms, etc, but there is nothing like that in the course. It also ends with him saying he's going to delve into more poses, and then the course is over. I'm not sure if the course has been amended or something like that. BUT, what is here is great, and has really really helped in understanding the body's basic shapes from a 3D perspective. Also, what anatomy was covered, was extremely helpful.

In this course as well, Robert proved to be an excellent lecturer and transferer of his own experiences to his students. It always fascinates me how, from initially very rough sketches, he refines the drawing in several stages and creates a very impressive final drawing, while at the same time giving spoken instructions that are very clear and useful. An excellent course, especially for those who already have some basic anatomical knowledge.

I profited much from this scientific approach to figure drawing. Scientific, for its measurability and repeatability of figure drawing. Anatomy study limited though they may be, is an added bonus. For sure it needs to be complimented by artistic imagination and skills in drawing gesture and action figures. I hope to improve that by more practice. Thank you.

I learned a lot from this course, the teacher was very interesting to listen to and gave great tips, got into the nitty gritty of poses and gave good life tips for working on your art and persevering through hard times where you might hate all the art you create. I'll definitely be watching this course again and learning from the ipad rather that pencil and paper. I'm sad to see this course end but I think the teacher did an excellent job.

great course for beginners, but you DO have to do the homework he gives at the beginning. I did not see progress until I did. my only constructive feeback would've been nice having a lesson on how to deviate from the perfect body. all examples used a muscular tall man or a slender woman. It would've been nice to learn how to draw a short or chubby person, for example. even if only using primitive forms

Robert Marzullo is an excellent instructor who skillfully explains concepts and demonstrates his approach to learning figure drawing step-by-step, allowing you to learn a lot. I particularly enjoyed the section on gesture drawing, where Robert made a real effort to ensure that you gain the most from the course. His feedback is also noteworthy, as he regularly answers questions and helped me to identify my mistakes. Thanks to this course, I significantly improved my gesture drawing skills in just 4 months. Prior to the course, I didn't draw any human figures, but now I have a very strong foundation for further learning.

Simply perfect The GOLDEN advices I will treasure forever I believe a little longer version of this course would answer more questions that would come into our minds I am very glad that I found this course by accident Thank you
