very good class with detailed explanation of how to use helm to install and manage packages and create your own charts. This is critical for deploying services in K8s to package all related resources of a service/app together rahter than deploy each resource separately using individual yaml files.

From my perspective, I felt like this course could use some restructuring. Important large concepts should be discussed first and the nitty gritty details like types of actions/methods could be discussed later down the lane. This course covers all the important concepts, but it felt a little boring. However, author covered all important concepts in detail and I learnt a lot from this course.

It was a great learning experience. The assignments and quizzes made the learning more engaging. One recommendation that I have is, it would have been better if you had shown how to set up a minikube. I guess that might help beginners to K8 world. Thanks for the course.

I love the content and the clear explanations. A couple of issues: code-along examples need to be updated since there are a couple of exercises that are out of date or have broken code. Also I'm not a huge fan of the assignment submission format. There should be a better way of submitting an assignment than just putting everything in a textarea box.

Overall good, some problems occur using Windows e.g. helm plugin install . Error: symlink C:\Users\xxx\udemy\helm\myplugins C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\helm\plugins\myplugins: A required privilege is not held by the client. And it is time consuming to google for a solution ;)

It's a good all rounded course for Helm as a beginner ! Worth for enrolling. Few improvements can be considered 1. Hooks & test connection Concepts might have explained bit more clear with use-case examples. 2. The voice modulation on sudden low's & high's in between is bit uncomfortable sometimes - it is giving me feeling like I'm in a Yoga Class.

it is a very good place to start on helm, although it could have some updates. being quiz'd for something that was not in the lectures is not the best experience to be honest and also when having to work with 'liveness' and 'readiness' probes, the image doesn't work, maybe because the mysql image mentioned is not available anymore on bitnami repo. Lastly, the assignments could be written on top of the video instructions so we can reference after watching the video and don't have to go back to watch it again if any doubts.

Really good course. Starts from the basics and requires no pre-knowledge of helm. By the end of the course, it leaves students at a place from where they could really learn further and apply this knowledge in their actual work. Thanks.
