How To Create Professional Websites In Oxygen Builder (Udemy.com)

The course is very informative and i learned a lot from you and i not even finished this course but now i feel now i could already create websites for clients without a problem with oxygen. A small tip for next course please make the fonts of css/php lines bigger because it is little bit hard to read what you wrote.

So far, So good, I like the Pace and presentation. Im excited to finally get the show started. Carry on please.

I'm a Russian speaker myself. So couldn't find any courses in Russian. I decided to take a risk and start the course in English. Surprisingly, I was able to understand everything. Now I'm about to finish 10th part (blog page). Pretty understandable, accurate, exciting. My husband recommended to learn about Oxygen in English, and he was right. Good job!!!

The author leaves out a lot of information....that when we are learning as he puts it...that information is valuable. Example: when we add the desktop menu their are three items 13.3.8 - but when we make the menu bigger it is already updated to six items 14.3.9 which is confusing for a novice....

As a total beginner of Oxygen, this course was excellent, I learnt so much. I highly recommend this course if you want to learn Oxygen. I only gave 4.5 stars because Oxygen has been updated since this course was released, therefor, some aspects of this course have been updated, and a small amount of configuration was needed during the course. However, don't let that put you off, this course is fantastic for the price. (I wrote this feedback April 2021)

Cursus is wat langdradig, te veel herhaling wat mij betreft. Ook is de beeldkwaliteit slecht, bijvoorbeeld bij het invullen van code is niet te zien wat er wordt ingevuld. Het had ook leuk geweest als er content was meegeleverd om de website na te maken. Met een pfd begin je niet veel. Aantal keren ook het idee gehad dat er informatie miste, waardoor ik niet uit de opdracht kwam. Na googelen bleek dan een simpel iets te missen. Al met al wel veel geleerd, maar had in veel minder tijd gekund. Duidelijk ook geen native speaker Engels.

Excellent course for learning how to use Oxygen builder, which is attractive because of its extensive support for flexbox and css grid, classes, and reusable templates, and for its independence from themes. The instructor’s pacing made it easy to follow along and complete all the lessons. The progression of lessons made learning and retaining procedures easy, and the plugins for adding dummy posts and images saved time. Overall a great course and reference. A couple of things that might be better are the sound quality (less echo or whatever creates “roundness”) and the video quality on a few screens that contain code.

Excellent course, to start with Oxygen Builder from the beginning is very good, good explanation by the teacher, step by step each of the elements, very interesting the way that certain possible inconveniences are solved. It would be great if they add more advanced material. I liked the section "13.27 The Blog Post section". It would be good to explain for a next course or new content about Templates. Thank you very much for good stuff.

Better than any YouTube video. This course takes you step by step to really understand the how and why of Oxygen Builder. I've done as many of the YouTube videos as possible before this course. I really wish this course had been available sooner and I had started with it. Would have saved me so much time! Well done! I hope you will do more courses on Oxygen, specifically related to how to use more code and other Oxygen styling features.

AMAZING! Clear, concise, and easy pacing. It can be covered within a week at most--even if you are working full time and have to learn evenings/weekends. If you haven't purchased the oxygen builder plugin, you can try it for free at the oxygen builder site--you can build unlimited trial sites that will persist for a week before being deleted. (This is plenty of time to create a site, demo-wise.) This is the ONLY Udemy course that even covers oxygen builder. Dawid covers everything from scratch explaining tasks in the order you will encounter doing them when starting a site. He covers why he is doing what he is doing, as well as showing you other options available so you can understand the full program and use it for your own site's needs. Videos are short (3-10 min.) and focus on only a single task, making it very easy to find how to do something for future reference. The example site he builds includes both static "normal" web site pages, as well as incorporating a blog menu option. First off, the best way to work this course is probably to have a site of your own in mind that you will build along with Dawid as you watch videos (realizing that you can always change things around later if the course includes things you don't want to include or do a bit differently), or simply to create the course he does but using your own images. You will build a "generic" type of site that incorporates both static site pages as well as a blog. There are no resources provided specifically to do a direct copy of his site; instead he explains where to find resources for things such as color palettes, images, videos, plugins, etc. to use on your own site. This is a GREAT WAY to learn, as you will walk away with an entire site you can use as a foundation for other sites simply by editing content instead of starting all over from scratch. This course takes you from Zero to Hero! You do NOT need to know css, but if you do, you will appreciate the interface oxygen builder uses--a lot of power--covers any css property you could want to use. Dawid also shows you how to use the code block feature as well as the css and html code editor to write custom css, and in some cases, php, to customize your visual results. So, you have full control of everything--GUI and coding. Once the basic blog site is completed, he takes you through building another complete site that has been mocked up in a graphic design program, so you will see how to duplicate a site in oxygen that meets the visual design handed to you by a graphic designer. This reinforces the information taught by seeing a second site built. He provides a .pdf file that lists the visual design choices made for that site, so you can easily follow along. I have searched Udemy a lot looking for oxygen builder courses-they just not there--this is the only one, and it's all you will need!!! If you want to learn it while having a community of fellow students and instructor to ask things of when you hit a glitch--then hit that BUY NOW button NOW--you won't be disappointed!!!
