HTML CSS JavaScript for Beginners Modern Web Design Course (Udemy.com)

This is a very extensive course and it requires to spend several dozens of hours to complete. I have already completed 85% of the course. I am happy to take it and hoping to complete it very soon. I recommend it to everyone who is willing to start with Web Development. Most of the topics are well explained, as there are some topics that would require a little more in-depth explanation and possibly some more exercises. Big thank you, Laurence, for the opportunity to take up this course!!!

Yes it definitely was!! I love how the instructor explains everything starting from the most basics, and as a complete beginner it has been a big advantage for me.I'd love if by the end of the course I will posses the knowledge to accomplish a real life project, even if's a simple one.

So far, so good. Having never coded before, I find the pace a bit quick and I'm having to pause the video, go to Brackets or Pen to try things out, create an HTML folder on my Mac etc. So a '5 minute' section has taken me about 20 minutes. The good thing is, I am seeing exactly what you are describing...so far!

gut und verständlich aufgebaut. könnte für meinen geschmack noch etwas näher an der realität sein. das sind jetzt so aufgaben wo nix direkt mit design zu tun haben. trotzdem: sehr gut, ich komm gut mit, es ist sehr verständlich und informativ, gute portionen, tolle aufgaben, ich bin sehr zufrieden!

Overall still a good course, but it is more suited for 'practical learners' as opposed 'theoretical learners'. Me, being a theoretical learner I struggled when reaching the javascript section especially, as I believe that requires more theory knowledge. If you're someone that learns by 'doing' this is perfect for you!

This has been a great learning tutorial. Yea, it took me a month to finish the html and CSS tutorial ( I learn at my own pace) and now trying to jump into Java script, but based on the video training (and also reading up with the Mozilla guide), I have been able to build out several test custom websites. I have never coded in my life and this training has built my skills to forge on learning Front end development before I transition to back end. If you have a doubt out there, trust me this will help build your skills. Javascript portion whooped my ass. Will have to watch the training over again with some good books.

I enjoy how every step is broken down and explained clearly however, I use windows laptop so when it comes to the exercises it's hard to follow along because brackets doesn't seem to react the same on windows as it does on mac

I am a slow learner, but it is great to learn new things. While doing this course is more simple than doing courses at college or university in real life you have no time and it's fast pace only the intelligent students that are quick learners will pass the course and the slow learners won't be able too even if they had support from other students or from support teachers in the class doing the course it's really cheating if they do that because others doing the assignment for them not themselves so by the time course is over these student struggle in the course won't learn a damn thing and be job less to find work. But online courses you can go at same pace with others even if they are ahead you don't need to rush or give up easily. Just take your time not like a real course at a college or University there is a deadline to complete the course assignments or projects most students struggle and drop out but there are some don't and successfully pass the units or subjects for the course getting a job after completion be easy because they may not have learning difficulties like most students do courses at private colleges or Universities have and dropped out too embarrassed to tell the real reason why fearing for shame if they do. That's life like for anyone wanting to study in Australia no matter the state, city, region at any private college or University. Most students drop out because of the courses are hard especially theory and there are deadlines for them to complete so these student give up especially students have learning difficulties. No one cares for them even they drop out. These colleges and Universities only care for students that do well in the courses gives them a good name.

This is a great course. It is what i have come to expect from Laurence. It is easy to follow and easy to see the code on my small screen. Excellent information and he give you little tidbits that other courses don't include.
