Illustrator on the iPad - Zero to Hero (Udemy.com)

Halfway through and continue in my amazement...illustrator is not scary! This instructor is awesome at presenting "bite-sized" lessons. Just getting to the part of the class I wanted to learn, but the first half was imperative to getting comfortable and familiar with the basics.

He does gloss over some of the details of the tools like brushes especially making your own brush … so many lessons just have repeated stuff or just one thing that didn't need to be said at the same time really important in-depth information is missing. this course could have been 1 hour and would give a good introduction to the app, but I still had to buy another course to get the deep training I needed.

A great course – not only for beginners! Instead of being familiar with the desktop version I learned new skills for my daily work with Illustrator. I liked the way the teacher explained everything. Learning with fun! Thank you :-)

This is a fantastic course and I highly recommend it. The instructor is thorough, very clear, and pleasant to listen to. It's my second course of his and I'd definitely buy another. Heads up though for anyone (like me) who only has illustrator on the ipad and not desktop. I make clip art to sell and I noticed that my art looks beautiful on the ipad but when I airdrop it to my laptop, the quality decreases and the lines look pixelated. Not sure if that's because I'm missing a step or if it's a problem with illustrator on the ipad, but thought I should mention it.

I've only just begun, but find this an Amazing course! Tim is so thorough and explains everything in such detail. I am so grateful to have fallen upon it and that I didn't choose another one I was looking at. I just love his enthusiasm. He speaks slow and its so easy to follow. Thank you so much! I really enjoyed this course. The lecturer was thorough, clear and left me curious for more. I have completed two other adobe courses in the past for the desktop illustrator. Regardless, I prefer his teaching style. The notes on the side of every class and the fact that his mouse is coloured blue , as well as his general enthusiasm, I appreciated his tutorial.

Definitely want to thank the tutor for this absolutely awesome course where they have thoroughly explained and taught illustrator with some great projects from creating logos to infographics and social media posts!! Can confidently say I’ve learned enough from this to start freelancing!

I loved this course, very easy to follow. It's perfect if never have used a vector app before and even when you know the basics or used another software, it will give tips and hidden tools and tricks. Tim is very pleasant and his classes are engaging. Happy to say I am using Illustrator on regular basis, confidently.

This was a good introduction to the software. I think another course by this instructor is merited. Time to do more projects and learn principals of art and design - shadows, highlights and perspective - while further hammering in the nuts and bolts of operating the software. I think such a course could be very popular.

The course was very thorough and the practice files made it very effective. Having the ability to pause the video and actually complete the exercises helped to make the lessons sink in. I would definitely recommend this others that are new to Illustrator.
