stephen is a great teacher .. i am loving it ..this is my second course with stephen and i am planning to take all of them ..i recommend this course if you really want to take your skills to the next level ...i am learning a lot and i dont mind buying all his source codes

Loving it so far! Easy to follow along and straight to the point. I have basic knowledge of html, css, js, web development and my first time using swift so the instructor is fantastic at making this simple to follow along. I highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to quickly learn and setup the app. Not ideal for absolute beginners with no prior knowledge of coding who want in-depth explanations of the functions however anyone computer savvy can do it just pause, code, repeat.

Really like how you try to go over the code step by step. Also, refactoring the code is such an important thing in programming, but a lot of other tutorials miss that completely just trying to go over materials and get the code workings. Would love to see more of your lectures that helps to improve the code quality.

I know that this course was created for a self-thought developer but he still needs too much to improve. • It is not using MVVM, basically it is just a file called SomethingViewModel that works just as a Presentation layer, and it is not presenting what it should be presenting, just a fraction of it, it needs bindings to cover what MVVM is. • There isn't DRY • Couple service's methods are high complexity with too much responsibilities for 1 single task. • The idea to use a MVVM helps to reduce Massive View Controllers, but although you can see a lot of extensions, there is too much overused protocol-delegate to just one controller, so it becomes too much responsibility. Now to be a self-though developer is amazing how he can create an app with this functionality, so he deserves congratulations for it. My recommendation for the Developer could be to learn the Swift-core concepts in depth, I think there is too much gaps to cover at explanation time. Now, for students these are my recommendations If you want to create a chat app, this course will help you, the idea is really interesting. If you want to learn MVVM... don't go for it, it is not using MVVM. If you are completely beginner... don't go for it, it covers topics that are not for completely beginners and without good explanations you could finish confuse. If you are intermediate developer... try to finish this app, and fix all the bad practices, that will help us as developers to improve our skills much more than just follow a course.
