I would say perfect 5 stars, but it looks like this class does not cover everything that a social network would need -- like letting users block users, letting users create private profiles, and how to create a finished news feed that supports pagination. Other than these missing pieces, though, this is a super well-made course. Huge thanks to Stephan for making these videos.

Pretty awesome course! I was doubtful at first because the course is three years old and there have been a lot of updates to Xcode and iOS but the concepts you learn are still on point. There are comments in the QA section that help you solve bugs you encounter because of updates. Stephan is also great at explaining the concepts. He doesn't just type the code. He takes time to explain it. That really helps when going through the course. He is also very thorough when building the application. He takes the time to build it the right way. I really appreciate the course. Thank you Stephan!

Amazing course. Very good tutor. This course will give you knowledge on how to build big app and make it scalable and maintainable. This course will teach you how to build good habits in creating app. This is the best Firebase course i have finished so far. -1 star for non-exhaustive approach to dynamic sizing. Nevertheless, i understood everything because of good explaining of what is going on in code. Also - i recommend this course if you want to get familiar with 'delegate pattern'. There is a lot of that here (simple usage and more complexed) and everything is well explained. More of this kind of courses!!!!!

Stephan Dowless is a freaken genius !! great mentor for my Swift programming skill. For those of you complaining about his lecture should consider figuring out the next step of your code before you follow his code in the lecture then you will know it's difficult to code even harder to teach. just a few things ! I hope you can come out with a lecture on: 1. how to use generic function on a project 2. animation with cool effect for splash screen / launchScreen Thanks again for your effort on making all of these great lectures

Yes its a good match just wish Stephan would slow down a little and not switch between files without telling us. He needs to carefully plan out lessons before delivering them and avoid corrections and bug fixes as he goes through coding. I don't think he is teaching his material at slow enough pace for most people to understand what he is doing. He needs to explain the code a lot more than what he does in this course.

An excellent course, I have previously finished one of the long iOS courses and just found them to boring. I much prefer this method of learning, Stephan explained things well and we built a proper MVP I highly recommend taking one of Stephan courses. I have purchased all of his other courses and will start the next immediately. Cheers Stephan

awesome course, I had a problem ony with one missing class that delayed my progress. But the overall learning is awesome. After finishing it, the only thing I feel I should have done is learnt about SwiftUI, because I don't feel like the way the instructor teaches us how to do it without storyboard would be used in a real product. But awesome course, I recommend it!

If you want an up-to-date Firebase Course on iOS, this is it. Stephan explains well and helped me understand concepts that were vague previous to taking this Course. Definitely helped me professionally with some of my personal project thanks to what I am learning here.

this course might be very challenging for those with zero knowledge in Swift, but if you are not, this course will help you learn a lot of important elements to develop an app through creating a Twitter clone. This course is so far the best practice for me for Swift courses on Udemy. Thank you for the great course and looking forward to more courses to come!!!

Excellent course. I am about a third of the way through it now. This is perfect for me in terms of where I am at learning iOS dev. I wanted to learn programmatic layout but Stephan is also showing us MVVM and explaining quite a few other gaps in my knowledge. Highly recommend this!
