I recently discovered that I had purchased this JMS course a few years ago, and I’m so glad I did! I’ve just finished it, and it’s by far the best JMS course I’ve found. It provides a clear and comprehensive explanation of JMS technology using the Artemis JMS server. Once you understand the concepts in this course, you can easily apply the knowledge to any other framework or messaging server. It’s a well-structured, up-to-date, and truly fundamental course — highly recommended!

It is a really good course, It has everything including installation, code, JMS 2.0 benefits and Real time code(in later sections). feedback for Course instructor : Very minor point, Power point slides needs little improvement - use bullets and sections

im a complete beginner to jms.. and this has helped me quite a bit. im currently halfway thru.. i sincerely appreciate the clinicals app and eligibility check example.. it really puts everything we learnt so far to the test. thanks bharath

The course is very good structured. Most of lessons are well explained and deeply got. I wished a simulation of a real implementation, waht should the producer and the consumer install and configure localy to get started, which ports and a little bit DB storing...etc.

This course is divided into following levels. Beginner - clear understanding of all the basic concepts of JMS Intermediate - A Brief introduction of the execution flow Expert - Assignments, Quiz and live practical demos.

By Mike Bishop on 7/14/2020

It's a pretty thorough treatment of JMS. I learned a lot from it, and the exercises were good and helped clarify the concepts. The only suggestion I would have is maybe include a short video comparing ActiveMQ with other providers like RabbitMQ.

By Joaquin Olvera on 4/27/2020

It is a really good course, it explains the very basics to understand the technology and increases the complexity very smoothly. What I would also suggest is to also include new/modern implementations with Spring JMS and Spring Boot Starter Artemis (both, not just one of them) after the basics have been explained from scratch, there is a bridge in most of courses where things are explained using modern stuff but lacks of the reason of using them and comprehend the background of it.

The structure of this course is logically constructed. Each component flows into the other. The instructor makes (sometimes hard to understand) concepts easy to follow by giving a short overview of the core concepts and then putting them in action. Every step that is necessary to create the examples alongside the instructor is explained and no steps are skipped. In summary, I have the feeling that I now understand the core concepts and practices of JMS. I feel confident to put them into action in my job and broaden my knowledge in the field.

By Matthew Broadhead on 3/11/2019

Course and teacher are good however the assignments could be better structured. Maybe downloading a zipped project which needs finishing. Would be nice to learn how to integrate messaging into JavaEE and how do deal with faults. EDIT: improved review rating due to new bonus material added to course teaching about security.
