This guy really knows what he's talking about and packs a ton of advanced info into the course. You learn how to use docker, spin up servers (locally and in the cloud), devops with bash scripting, and bunch of other stuff. Plus, he's very active in the forum answering students' questions. I would highly recommend this course. One of the best I've ever taken.

First of all, Eduonix should add "Linux knowledge" to the requirements. Second of all, there are not enough exercises or sth else (like quizzes) to test out what we have learned. However, teacher's speaking while explainin topics is extremely fluent and understandable. Some of the topics are well thought, some of them are not. In short, in my opinion, its an average docker course.

If you are clear about this being an introductory course, then it is fairly good. Don't expect it to be too detailed, but the later examples do get better and can be useful to work along with the lecture. I viewed the whole thing on 1.5 times play speed and wish there was just a little bit faster - at 2.0 it was a little bit too fast. At 1.0 it would have been incredibly painful. Also it would help if the lectures and examples were updated every few months - things move fast in this world.

Great introduction to Docker and related requirements. Covers since "what's is docker" up to "how to deploy your container into production". It's a great way to start using Docker for your local development workspace. I found myself applying and using Docker on localhost on day one of this course. The instructor speaks slower than "normal" which is great for non-english speakers. It's highly valuable material for every software developer.

This is a great course to get started with learning about Docker. It started off well giving a perfect overview of what Docker is and what are the primary uses of Docker. However, in the middle the course was a little too fast. I constantly had to keep referring to different resources to catch up on what he was talking about. Other than this little bit, the rest of the course is informative and I really learned a whole lot from it.

I liked the overall walk-through, but the guys voice was difficult to deal with till the end. I would like to have been given more idea's of common use. Maybe better example of why to use the volume mount, like keeping important running "state" and deleting the container for a new one. Or keeping logs on the host so when you delete the container you can still look over logs while dev'ing new versions of the container.

If you are looking for a deeper understanding on Docker(file) syntax, you won't find in here. But he will show you how to do it, and explain it basic functions. As a conter point, it is really good explaining how docker works on each part. Never fails. So it is worth it.

This course was amazingly helpful in getting started with Docker, as well as defining all the necessary terms and tools used with Docker. This video tutorial provides a good overview on Docker. It starts with a general overview on Docker's architecture and explains what Docker is and where it stands in comparison to traditional virtualisation technologies. It then dives into the practical use of Docker. Instructer covered lots of important topics like dockerhub cloud which is what I wanted from this course.

This is a pretty good course to get started learning app development with docker. I finished more than half of the videos and was able to create an app quickly and easily with docker. very good instructor which will help you for sure to dive into the course without any problems at all.

The course started off very well. But then when they came to the dockerfile they moved too quickly without really explaining the syntax. Why does one need vagrant if docker is already there. This is not explained and again the course moves too quickly (perhaps assumes that we know what is vagrant and how it relates to docker). I wish they had spent a little more time in making newbies like me more famailiar with the dockerfile syntax and application dev. a more problem and receipe approach would have helped. All in all, (i felt) that the course is rushed.
